List of Erin Gertz's Reviews
Dr. Gertz is very knowledgeable professional and personable. She recently delivered our first baby and I couldn’t be any happier. She has been my OB doctor for the past 5 years and it’s been a great experience. Highly recommend!
Dr Erin Gertz is the best OBGYN and I trust her completely with my care. She was proactive with my prenatal depression during my pregnancy as well as my pre-eclampsia at delivery, she was extremely thorough and caring through my polypectomy, and every time I speak to her I feel heard and like someone values my experience and needs. I cannot recommend her enough and am thankful to have her as my doctor.
I have been seeing Dr. Gertz for the last few years and all I can say is that I’ve never had another doctor make me feel so comfortable with every visit. She took time out of her day today to fit me into her busy schedule and helped me through my recovery after I had a mass and ovary removed. As we move off island I hope to find a new doctor as good as her. Thank you for everything.
I am writing this as a male and about the experience we had with Dr. Gertz as my Fiance's doctor. When a growth was found on my Fiance's ovary, Dr. Gertz saw us and explained what needed to be done. She coordinated with a specialized surgeon, and she followed up after the surgery multiple times throughout her recovery. When the incision unexpectedly opened, Dr. Gertz saw us on very short notice and throughout the remaining recovery. None of this was her prerogative, but because Dr. Gertz cares she really went the extra mile. When this week an unrelated ultrasound showed what might be a new growth on my Fiance's other ovary, we instinctively went straight to Dr. Gertz. She reviewed the imagery, saw us, and explained that we didn't need to worry. Now as we move off of Oahu out biggest concern is finding a doctor as good as Dr. Gertz. She is professional but has fantastic bedside manner and empathizes with her patients - something anyone reading this will know is so hard to find these days. Is she overworked? Almost certainly, and yet she makes the time and for that we are so grateful. We cannot recommend her enough.
I feel so lucky to find Dr. Erin Gertz as my OB. She is super professional, supportive, and full of positive energy. I enjoyed every visit.
I have not had a checkup in 7 years, and after hearing good reviews about Dr. Gertz thought I should go in. I called the office to make sure they took my health insurance, and they said they did. Dr. Gertz said she wanted to do an ultrasound just to double check that my IUD is in the correct place, although nothing seemed wrong or out of place form what she told me. I got a bill 4 months later for $213, because of the ultrasound. I am a student and have been struggling during the pandemic. I would have never agreed to the appointment or the ultrasound if I knew I would be struggling to come up with this large, unexpected bill. I do not know how or when I will be able to pay this. I have called billing in hopes of getting the fee reduced. They said no. I feel lied to and deceived by Dr. Gertz and her office. Do not agree to anything from Dr. Gertz until you run it by your health insurance! She does not care if something is covered or not, even an unnecessary ultrasound. This is the exact reason I have not been in for a checkup, deceiving practices for profit. I will never be stepping into that office again.
Best doctor ever, she has made every medically difficult situation I’ve been in bearable. I would change my insurance if needed to continue under her care. Worth every copay! Dr. Gertz makes the birthing experience so comfortable I am sometimes in the disbelief of wanting more children!
I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She’s honestly one of the best out there. I’ve had two babies with her and completely trust her.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
