Dr. Farhad Safi has been my eye doctor recently. I found him absolutely competent, attentive and clearly explained the cause of the condition both in layman’s terms and scientifically. I’m very happy with Dr. Safi, I have good reasons to be, on one occasion I quipped to myself: “I feel like a U.S. President as Dr. Safi trained in Walter Reed Hospital where commanders-in-chiefs, generals and our soldiers prefer to go...”

Have seen this doctor three times in four years for monitoring of retina condition. All good.This visit was after two year absence. Dr. Safi discovered a hole in retina and offered immediate treatment. His discovery and on-the-spot intervention reduced risk of retinal detachment/blindness in one eye. I am one grateful patient for the thorough evaluation, explanation and treatment. I highly recommend him. If you were scheduled after me, thanks for waiting. Thanks, Doc.

Dr. Safi is amazing. He is one of the most professional doctors I have met and more than that, he is a wonderful human being. He took care of my mother and gave her sight back.He truly cares about patients. He talked with us about the procedures he will be performing and he made sure she was set for the surgeries. He followed up with us and made sure she is doing well. He is very pleasant to talk with and very caring. He is always available to answer any questions I had about the treatment. He is one of the best at his craft and truly is a great doctor. I am forever grateful for everything he did for her. Thank you very much Dr. Safi!

My husband was diagnosed with advanced glaucoma last year. Dr. Safi is compassionate, reassuring, and very approachable. He answered our questions and addressed our concerns. Most of all, he educated us about glaucoma and the options for treatment. He is leaving WRAMC to further his career, and we wish him the best of luck.
