MISDIAGNOSIS: My primary physician made an appointment for me to see this doctor. The office staff called my doctor that Dr. Blum canceled the appointment. Although my doctor told them to let me know about the cancellation, they didn’t. I went to the different doctor with better credentials few weeks later. Dr. Blum told me I had broken bone. The new X-ray revealed the broken pieces of bone had disappeared. Dr. Blum misdiagnosed. It was calcified tendonitis. His unkind staff saved me from unnecessary surgery by Dr. Blum.

The lady who answered the phone was the rudest person I have ever spoken with. She barely spoke English and was getting huffy and puffy with me about a note we had been waiting on for almost 2 weeks. Then she hung up on me when I said we had been waiting for it. Make sure you do not go here.

My post op visit was very good. Dr Blum has excellent caring staff members- notably Stacy & Yoren. Dr Blum is a kind, competent clinician. Good bedside manner. Allows ample time during the visit to listen & explain his treatment , expected outcome & goals. I highly recommend him.

He and his staff made SURE to remove all the pain I walked into the office with; within minutes of my arrival. His inspection of the damage to my hand was done with care and confidence. His explaination of what needed to occur and why was at a level I could understand; not medical terms. He put me at ease.

Dr. Blum was exceptionally helpful and thoroughly explained my condition in addition to answering my questions/concerns. His professional demeanor immediately put me at ease.. The procedure for my right hand was conducted in office. The total time spent from submitting my insurance documents and signing all required documents took about 45-minutes.

Dr. Blum is one of the finest surgeons that I have had the pleasure of receiving treatment. He is not only skilled and experienced at the highest level in his field of expertise, but he pairs it perfectly with common sense and practical application. He is understanding and excellent in his bedside manners. He listens to what you have to say and provides assuring options. I would recommend anyone to Dr. Blum who needs an Orthopedic surgeon who specializes in: Hand, Elbow & Shoulder, Reconstructive Microsurgery, and Pediatric Hand surgery. Mahalo Dr. Blum!

He was professional, took his time and talked about what was wrong, how to fix my shoulder and exercises and follow up for after our office visit.
