I had a surgical procedure done and Dr Korenaga was my anesthesiologist and I would say he is just horrible. He has no bed side manner and he doesn’t listen to his patients. This was my 16th surgery so I would like to say I know how my body reacts to anesthesia and I asked him to give me about nausea medication and he said ask the nurse ??. I thought that was strange but I asked the nurse and the nurse said you have to ask the anesthesiologist. I told him again as we were going into the operating room and he is like yeah yeah. I woke up from surgery vomiting so that tells me he didn’t give me what I asked for. He is just a horrible person who should not be practicing medicine anymore. He needs to retire!

Dr Gilbert Korenaga is not the Dr for medication only. I have had 5 spinal surgerys numberous shots, epidurals, nerve blocks for the past 20 years so I just want to live in as little pain as possible. He wants to do work like shots, operations etc. you know money for him not what is in the best interest of the patient. Rude from day one saw him 3 times and never listens to what I had to say. Had to have med's reduced in strienth to receive pain Medes at Trippler at which I ran out and asked for a higher amount since it was reduced. He told me go buy taylenol. What? He will tell you what you need regradeless to make you live as confortable as could be, but live it pain and suck it up. This Dr walks around like he is in a bad mood all the time. Thank god there are other Dr that are much nicer!

Doctor Korenaga was the anesthesiologist during my surgery. He did a perfect job. he also took a great care about post-surgery pain.He obviously knows his job. He is efficient and friendly.You can trust him.
