Saw Dr Woods. He treated very well. He was able to catch something that had been missed by an emergency room and an eye center. I also knew when I was done there what good vision truly is. They really did help me. Thank you Dr Woods and Hawaii Eye Clinic

Dr Yamamoto is very efficient and answers all of my questions. I never feel rushed . Office staff are always courteous and polite. Office is kept clean. Easy parking at Ala Moana Shopping Center.

I would never recommend this clinic !!! Dr. Yamamoto is the worst. I was super hurt. This hurt has been going on since last year. I thought about suing her, if I had money. I had been going to her clinic for a long time until last year, but suddenly She started yelling at me so loudly that I couldn't explain my symptoms and I went home. Of course, I changed doctors from that day. If she has no remorse for what she says and her attitude towards patients, then she is just a crazy woman. What a poor woman doctor. That made me think she had menopausal or mental problems. But the receptionist is normal. But the assistant who is always there is always unfriendly and very unpleasant, a woman with no kindness in her heart. I have heard from people that Dr. Yamamoto is also racist. She is said to be especially kind to people with money and teachers. I think that such discrimination , Disrespectful is possible and not allowed in America.. I think Yamamoto Eye Clinic is the worst clinic. We cannot forgive a doctor like that in Hawaii as a professional. She has such an attitude when caring for patients and doesn't understand how bad her attitude is, so it must be "menopause! But Still, I don't think it's professional at all . It's not good for patients to go to a doctor like that. I didn't want to say & post like it this, but I've heard that there are probably many more people who are hurting than me, but I think they just don't have the courage or time to post it on social networks like this. I don't think this clinic is a good clinic under any circumstances. I will share this with everyone as a warning also Here in America, I believe that racial discrimination and discrimination based on rank are wrong, and I pray that God will judge. If she was in menopause or had an illness, we would forgive her. God bless

They didn't tell my wife she can't drive before dilating her eyes. She ended up stuck at AlaMoana for a few hours. I had to take off from work to pick up my daughter from school. I don't recommend this place.

1/5/2023, I was not Shure whether I have seen Dr. Yamamoto or not, but I guess I did. Because there was no introduction of any kind. A lady took me to the examining chair and acting like a doctor so I must have seen the doctor. It was hard to tell between a technician or the doctor without the introduction. The technician did good job but the doctor was machinegun talk. I felt I was in middle of the mass production.

Great Doctor..always does the extra mile! Staff, very courteous!

This is an eye doctor not an optometrist. She is wonderful and very thorough! Don't let her Japanese speaking staff and their accents fool you. I'm pretty sure she is American born as she does not have an accent! I cannot say enough about the level of service and the eye exam. I docked a star because I think they forgot to remind me that things would be overly bright for a few hours and to wear dark glasses!

Dr. Izumi Yamamoto is really kind and explains very well to her patients. Her office staff is very organized. Lots of patients but maintains 6ft social distance protocols very well. I highly recommend Dr.Yamamoto. Office staff and Doctor speak fluent Japanese / English. Added plus for patients who only speak Japanese.

I was humiliated by my accent yesterday when i tried to have an appoitment the first time.The Manger yelled at me on the phone so angry and corrected my pronunciation in English and said she doesn’t understand my English and I felt totally denigrated by Manager. I couldn’t have appointment finally! .

Dr. Yamamoto was very competent informative and helpful during my first visit. I am very satisfied with her as my eye physician, and will retain her as my primary eye doctor.
