Great staff

I went here because I read the great reviews. My ring finger swelled up from eating too much salty foods and hiking without drinking much water. The ring cut off my circulation and I thought I was going to have to get the ring cut off but the staff here were able to remove it without cutting it! All of the healthcare staff were super kind and funny and had me laughing even though I was very nervous. They seemed genuinely concerned with my health and ensuring a positive outcome. Very professional. I would recommend them to anyone needing top care in a caring and professional environment.

Dr. Bhagen is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. She is soo knowledgeable in women’s health and takes her time to thoroughly explain any question or concern that I have. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. The experience that I have with Dr. Bhangen is the epitome of quality medical care! I appreciate her so much and I highly recommend becoming her patient!

This review is for the front staff and the physical therapy department. This is by far the best straub clinic for physical therapy. My therapist is Abe. I highly recommend him. He is so friendly and thorough. He takes the time to listen to you and gives very detailed explanations. All of the therapists here are friendly too. The front desk workers are very friendly as well. It’s worth the drive from Kailua!

After waiting a week or more to get a call back establishing a schedule date for a facetime "exam", I was finally given a schedule, two weeks out. When the call occured it was 25 minutes after my appointment and i was on hold the entire time. The call lasted less than 10 minutes and the cost was 290.00 billed to my insurance. An in office appointment was recommended for a full physical exam. I agreed so a few days later the desk crew called me and set-up a date and time suitable to the Dr. I waited nearly 3 more weeks, went, was met by an assistant who took my blood pressure, weighed me and charted my height. Then thanked me for coming and said you're all done, you can leave. Several weeks have gone by and no followup. So, as conditions worsened I called for another appointment. After selecting all the number keys required, I finally spoke with a desk clerk. They wanted to set up another phone "exam". I denied saying there is nothing they can fix on the phone. She explained she would have to ask the Dr., term used loosely, if he would actually do a "hands on" exam. I agreed she could get permission and call me back. I was working when she called so missed thecall but called back moments later, as requested. After more than 10 minutes pushing buttons and waiting on hold, another person answered. I explained all the dEtails AGAIN and she was happy to set an appointment for another facetime exam, because "they are very concerned about me as a patient".I said NO a phone droctor is not what I need. I can get that help on Dr. Phil for free. She explained that the "DR." WAS NOT SEEING PATIENTS IN PERSON DUE TO COVID CONCERNS.Would anyone care to know my exact response?Simply put, I will not be going to this dr. Or straub Hawaii Kai . Dr Worthen is a great doctor. He takes the time and explains and he encourages me toward better health choices. Doctors I have had in the past are often condemning or disconnected. I think the facility itself could use some brightening up. Kind of run down. I live in HK so this is very convenient for me.

Straub is HORRIBLE!! Go to Queens. They took my mom when Straub Kapolei and Town declined to see her because she had a minor cough which was congestive heart failure. Straub used to be known for the best Doctors. Times have changed! Don't waste your time at STRAUB. Go to Queens!

The people at Straub are great !

Since January dr ordered pulmonary test for my daughter & as of today I get the run around & no appointment. They bounce me between Straub & Pali Momi. No one calls, I can't speak direct to the department. Poor service & nasty attitude is what I get.

Great service and care for my husband. MyChart is always updated and good current.
