I saw a psychiatrist here for the first time via a telephone visit. I have been having minor physical symptoms which has created some anxiety for me. Well, the provider diagnosed my condition as conversion disorder which is an ridiculous and extreme diagnosis for such minor physical symptoms. That's basically the mental health equivalent of diagnosing someone with an inoperable brain tumor just because they have a headache. My experience here has only reinforced the preconceived notion that mental health 'treatment' is anything but, and some mental health providers cause more damage than they repair. Sometimes you truly are just better off going at it alone.
Nicholas khiterer Mentioned Freud multiple times, claimed I did not have any of the diagnosises that I have, diagnosed me with something he did not discuss at the visit, was almost 20 minutes late, said unfactual information and did not accept corrections well. I never want to see him again and suggest people who have been referred to him ask to see a different doctor. I HOPE you have better therapists than him
I’ve been going to this practice for many years since I was a teenager. While some doctors don’t fit me personally, I’ve always found others that I work well with. They’ve always been professional and helped me understand my medications and diagnosis. I currently have been seeing my psychiatrist for almost 5 years at this point and it’s been such a great help. Mahalo for always treating me like a human being rather than a problem or insane
front office needs some very severe evaluation to better assist their member/patients.
Worse experiences ever!!! Doctors only care about themselves and don’t even let us patients speak. They only wish to take your medicines away and they don’t even know you. 1st appointment and bam take away your medicine. That is all they want to do. Discrimination at its finest here also with no explanation. This IBH needs to be thoroughly investigated!!! I will never go back here until Lee is out and someone that actually cares about their patients is and!!! Here if you suffer from mental health you are screwed. Doctors need to lose their egos and listen to their patients. I could go on and on but for what? Nothing changes. My wife took out a huge and I mean thousands of dollars to get me the right treatment. Now I maybe paying out of pocket for appointments and medication just to keep me alive and happy with my mental health. I will never ever recommend Kaisers behavior health to anyone!!!
Not sure about any “abuse health practices “ however, we have had excellent experiences with both psychology and psychiatry. I’ve had a lot of experience with various CBT providers over the years and this place and its staff have so far exceeded my expectations. It’s only been two visits so I cannot give 5 stars yet. Will update when I know more. Thanks!
Abusive practice, presents a danger to mental and physical health.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
