I had an appointment with Dr. Rupa Wong, which took <2 months to make because she's only there 2 mornings a week. Get to the appointment and Dr. Rupa is not available (understand people get sick) so they are fitting my child in...excuse me. Like they are doing me a favor. This is a responsibility of a clinic that makes appointments to see patients. About 2 hours later saw an optometrist that took notes and confirmed I understood the recommended treatment. People have jobs, especially to pay for the non-insurance covered recommended treatment. The staff was nice. I don't know if this is indicative of Hawaii service or this particular practice.

Dr. Rupa Wong is FANTASTIC! She has wonderful bedside manner with pediatric patients and she explains everything very well and is extremely thorough. All the staff at the clinic are really helpful and very professional. They also have a wonderful play room for pediatric patients which is great for longer appointments. We travel from the Big Island because Dr. Wong is the best. My daughter absolutely loves Dr. Wong and actually looks forward to our visits. Can’t say enough good things about this clinic and Doctor!

Since day one, Dr Rupa Wong has been a rock star for my eye care. She and the office staff work in unison to provide excellent service. Even the staff in the eye glass area are exceptional.

I’ve been going to Honolulu Eye Clinic for about 5 years now. I like that they are open on Saturdays so I don’t have to take time off from work. I’ve never had to wait long, and they are very thorough in checking for all aspects of your eye health. One time I had a stye on my eyelid and they took me that same morning. Dr. Bossert is kind, professional and knowledgeable. They even have an optical shop where you can try on a big selection of frames, even for kids!
