It’s no surprise that Dr. Okazaki has received so many top doctor awards as he is so beloved by his patients, staff and colleagues. His genuine compassion and care, as well as his positive outlook, foster much needed hope and healing as he treats the “whole” person. His tireless DEDICATION from early morning flights to late evenings, checking on his patients on Maui has continued for over 20 years.The only thing that outshines his “ brilliance” in his field is his “ humility”. I’m so grateful he has brought me from a grim cancer diagnosis to a bright new life full of joy in just over a year. He’s a doctor you can laugh with and talk to for advice... a one in a million friend!

Everyone should have a doctor like Dr. Okazaki. He is compassionate, attentive, thorough and spends as much time with me as I need. I never feel rushed even when mine is a squeezed in appointment. Dr. Okazaki’s calm demeanor is comforting. I am in good hands.

He has an excellent bedside manner. Makes me feel at ease because I'm always nervous during the visit. Remembers details such as hobbies and interests and will open up the visit with discussions of football or grandkids. Has become a friend over the years. Was also told by other physicians that he's a good choice.
