My child was having high fever, vomiting and pain in right lower abdomen. She was trying to convince me that my child has constipation and said it is too early to say is appendicitis . After I asked for discharged - not to waste time in ER, then she ordered blood test and ultrasound. Then it showed my child has signs of infections of high WBC. Just can't believe an ER doctor will not do lab first to rule out infections. I thought she is new from medical school or new to medical field. Constipation will not cause high fever. Very disappointed with Kapiolani Medical Center ER.
