MIchael Sia Md's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Sia is a great doctor! My boys doctor recently retired so i had to find a doctor right away! Just like others have mentioned, he quickly responds to email when i have concerns. Thank god for this cause i would have peace of mind right away and i would know if it is necessary to be seen in person or not. Whenever we visit in person, he always give a visit summary where it includes babies growth, and a list of medicines with their doses which is so helpful! (This wasnt given from my kids previous dr). His staff are welcoming and friendly as well! I would definitely recommend him to family and friends!

Dr. Sia has been a wonderful pediatrician for our son! He is diligent in reviewing our son's developmental progress at each appointment and very responsive to off-hour questions or concerns. Very highly recommended!

Dr Sia is wonderful and I'd recommend him to anyone looking for a proactive pediatrician that is very knowledgable and most important, is always available! I'm a first time mom and met with Dr Sia when I was around 30 weeks pregnant. He was great in our interview and unlike another review here; I received a reminder call a couple days prior to my interview. I've never had a problem and have always received reminder calls before all of my appointments. When I gave birth, Dr Sia was there to see my baby in the nursery; he is so awesome! Most of the pediatricians that I interviewed weren't willing to show up when I gave birth, but Dr Sia was there everyday until I was discharged. He checked her everyday and even got us formula to take home. Soooo wonderful! Most doctors take forever to make last minute appointments; with my PCP for instance I have to book appointments weeks to a month in advance. Dr Sia however, is great because he takes patients last minute; for instance when my daughter was an infant she showed signs of having a cold and when I called, they took us in on the same day... I was pleasantly surprised at how available he makes himself and I know he's super busy. On top of that he's also available for questions via email. This is a great option that I feel most doctors should offer. It's a way to ask questions/concerns without having to come in. Lastly he is very thorough during his appointments. Each appointment for my baby has little to no wait time, they do measurements, meet with the nurse practitioner and then Dr Sia who both do a thorough exam and are open to any questions (including hypochondriacs like my mother... He was able to set her at ease). After that you have a one on one in Dr Sias office where he shows my baby's growth progression in comparison to others her age (%) on his laptop and he also gives a very thorough report of her milestones. He's also given formula which is a huge perk and we're so grateful since formula is so costly and I honestly tried my best breastfeeding but my baby had issues latching. Overall I couldn't have found a more perfect doctor for my precious baby. After suffering 4 prior losses (3 were 2nd trimester losses due to a weak cervix); my baby is so precious to us and we're so blessed to have Dr Sia since he takes such good care of our rainbow baby. We recommend him to any parent seeking a wonderful, trusting pediatrician. Mahalo for doing all you do Dr Sia!

Doctor Sia is wonderful. He's very attentive, conservative and listens to your concerns. We appreciate all the years we've been with him until the kids of course got too old and had to find another doctor, so sad. We will surely miss seeing doctor. Thank you Dr. Sia for taking good care of our kiddos.

I now reside on the mainland and visiting my parents for an extended stay. Unfortunately during my visit, my 9 month old had a bad case of diarrhea. I called different pediatricians around town in hopes of making an appointment, but was either: 1) turned away because we were just visiting 2) told the doctor's wouldn't treat diarrhea or 3) given some basic diet advice from the receptionist. I was finally referred to Dr. Sia by a good friend whose family has three young ones under his care. I called only hoping to make an appt - instead, Dr. Sia personally got on the phone and spoke to me about my child. It was completely unexpected. It is clear that Dr. Sia truly cares about the well-being of children and not in "business" just to make a profit. On top of that, he also had a lot of insight and it is clear that he stays up to date on the newest research and information available (based on the advice and information he provided). I cannot thank him and his staff enough for their help and guidance. When I move home, I know exactly who my child's pediatrician will be.

Dr. Sia is an amazing doctor. I was always comfortable and confidant with his care for my two children. He took the time to actively listen to my concerns and I never felt like he was trying to rush me out. He was always playful and friendly with the children & gave practical parenting advice to me. I have since moved away and I am still searching for another caring and dedicated pediatrician to replace him.

Dr. Michael Sia is an awesome Pediatrician. When looking for doctor to take care of my little one, Dr. Sia was very professional in returning my call and answering any questions that I had. The office visit with our son was great. The office staff is simply amazing. The Doctor's office is well set up with all types of kiddie games making it a joy to go visit Dr. Sia.
