Queen's Island Urgent Care Kakaako's Online Review Report Card

Phones don't work. Doctor had to write prescription b/c system down from last night so cannot send electronically to pharmacy. Took my handwritten script to pharmacy but they couldn't fill it b/c the doctor's name wasn't printed on it. Came back today to get doctor's name. Btw, phones and system still down. What a joke!!

Giving 1 star is being nice for this chop shop. Took 2 hours for them to tell me to mask up and wait out my cold/sinus symptoms. They took a flu test even though I didn’t want one and I said I had no flu symptoms just so they can bill my insurance. They pushed for a Covid test even though I already took one at home which I denied. Then the Doctor prescribed my a cough suppressant when I have no cough. All I wanted was a prescription allergy medicine or something to stop my nose from constantly running all day and my head from pounding from sinus pressure. All I got was a bunch of bs, a bill and no solution. 0 stars if it was up to me

Says they are open until 8pm, I showed up at 7:30pm on Feb 23,2025 before closing and they turned me away. The girl at the front didn't even have a smile when I walked in. She was ready to turn me away and go home and end her shift. As soon as I walked in she said they weren't taking anyone. I even asked to talk to the doctor and the doctor came out and said the same thing I saw the cleaning lady cleaning in the back one of the rooms. It didn't seem busy at all. No one was in the waiting room either. Her name was Brittany. Maybe they should change there hours online if they aren't going to take anyone past 7:30pm!! Don't say your open till 8pm if you aren't.

Should give this place ZERO STARS. My wife just took my son there who has an ear infections and body ache. Place closes at 8. They walked in at 7:02 and were told no more walk ins, even though it wasn't busy. She kindly asked if they could make an exception because we have a son who is in pain and needs to be seen. She was told flat out, NO. What pieces of shit that work here. We will be contacting everyone above the people that work here. Don't go in to healthcare if you don't really want to help people. Special place in hell for assholes like this.

The closing times are bs, tried to go in at 7:45 PM and their doors were locked.

The time is now 7:44p as I have just returned back to my car. I had to search for parking-not ideal for urgent care. I arrived with noone at the desk waited a few minutes before someone by the name Ashley to say they took their last patient. Signs & website say 8pm, if you are not longer taking patients you should LOCK your door. The worst first impression of a facility, they deserve zero stars.

I had to wait 30 minutes or more to be seen on a Saturday and there wasn't many people there. They made sure I had coverage from the VA to see them. Yet they ordered Blood work from Diagnostic Laboratories without getting authorization from my VA first. Now I received a letter from a collection agency saying I owe $144.00. They also told me VA was hard to reach, so CT had to be cancelled or rescheduled. The person I talked to over the phone seemed that she couldn't care less about anything. I would not recommend this place. So disappointed that VA hotline recommended this place. Wish I could go back in time and waited to see the VA. I wish I would have read the bad reviews.

Well I been here a few times and I notice all the times I been here it's been pretty much the same . The front end needs customer service training . I walk in and I'm standing at the counter for a good 5 minutes and the girl is playing on her Cel phone , instead of paying attention to her surroundings and paying attention to people walking through that door . This generation , is really sad with their Cel phones . So I'm standing there and she's not even looking up , then I make a sound with the end of my phone on the counter , then she jumps and says oh you needed something . Duhh , I just came here to watch you play on your phone . I'm not sure what other's experienced here but I am sure they had similar experiences because usually if somebody has bad habits like that , it didn't just happen over night . Well , another thing I notice about this place is that , the workers talk story a lot . I can hear them talking about stuff that doesn't even pertain to the job , just laughing loud and talking .. Hello there is patients here that don't feel good , at least have some respect and consideration for the patients. Still in the waiting room , so don't have anything to report yet as far as the service here . Although I been here a few times before . And honestly not to thrilled about it . I basically come here because it is the most convenient for me as far as travel .

Dr. S Nguyen should not be a doctor. I knew I had an eye INFECTION and told them and only the nurse took me seriously- Dr. S Nguyen proceeded told me there's absolutely nothing to do about it and diagnosed it as milia when anyone without a medical degree could obviously see it was no damn milia as It felt like animal skin and was spreading -red and was painful ... went to castle days later because it was obviously getting worse from being untreated and they immediately took me seriously and a real doctor quickly saw it was an serious infection..... 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place -- go somewhere else if you want real doctor help
