List of Shriners Children's Hawaii's Reviews
Every time I go, everyone is so kind, and I am truly grateful and touched. Last year, my oldest son got injured while playing soccer, and today, I took my youngest daughter because she hurt her elbow. I really appreciated how kindly they helped me since my English isn’t very good. Thank you so much to all the wonderful doctors and nurses!
I am a Shriner's baby. I was born with bilateral club feet and Shriner's hospital is the reason I can be on my feet for 12-16 hours a day as a nurse giving back to my community. The Shriner's staff were always the most kind, loving and caring team I have ever known.
Hands down 100. From the moment you walk in you're greeted with a smile and a beautiful fish tank! Doctors are top notch here, I will always choose to make a drive to take my boys for any ortho emergencies. Their walk in Injury clinic is a godsend. Everything in house, when my son fell and dislocated a bone in his wrist, they seen him, did x-rays, and fitted him for a brace, all on the same day with 3 hours, and that was a walk in!! Thank you Shriners for taking care of my boys when we need you!
If you’re over 18 and have a disability, good luck in getting a referral from this place. They don’t even recognize you and treat you like a number. Newsflash, healthcare for ALL people is a human right and people SHOULD get referred once they age out. They are two-faced.
The best experience I've had at a hospital. My kid that was coming for dental treatment felt so loved and supported by everyone there. I highly recommend them for anyone needing treatment that they offer.
My son broke a bone and during X-rays in the ER they found tumors. I immediately got a referral to Shriners thinking it was the best place on island. They found more tumors and instead of trying to find answers for the tumors she jumped right to surgery. She wanted to stabilize a different bone. Luckily my mom instincts kicked in and I got a second and third opinion. He definitely doesn’t need any stabilization and yes his condition is very rare but she didn’t even try. It’s either a money thing(we have insurance) or maybe she was just surgery happy either way just follow your instincts and don’t just accept what they say. I’m so thankful I didn’t put my 6 year old through all that for no reason. I will say that everyone else there was so nice and helpful. We felt very comfortable there and they had tons of things to keep my son entertained during his visits.
Shriners, you have my heart and my families heart. From the moment we stepped in here (after being referred by our pediatrician) from a freak accident it has been nothing short of awesomeness. The staff here makes you feel like family and just like you're in first class of hospitals. Dr Lance Mitsunaga thank you again for giving my daughter her life back and fixing her neck. The nurses on level 2 and the therapists y'all are just amazing! The way you treat the children and parents are top knotch! Thank you a million and thank you for taking care of the children and parents with love.
One of the best hospitals I have been to the children's care and Boston Massachusetts Including
Our 15 year old daughter was diagnosed with medium grade scoliosis. I googled who she could see that specializes in scoliosis. Shriners was at the top of the list. We immediately made an appointment and within a month after some physical therapy and making a back brace from Spain for our daughter her scoliosis when from 31 to 19. We are grateful that Shriner's was there! They have great people and I encourage you to reach out to them if you have any orthopedic concerns for you children. Th why are the best! Mahalo Shriner's.
Amazing hospitality.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
