Tim Roytman, Md's Online Review Report Card

5 Stars I recently received a procedure from Dr. Roytman to help relieve my severe BPH issues. Great news! Post procedure, I can now pee like a teenager again. In addition, one week post catheter removal I am almost 100% continent. Dr. Roytman’s skill, professionalism & compassion are second to none. Many thanks to him & the whole Aloha Urology team. They are the best!

He may be a good surgeon, I'll never know. Couldn't see him when I really needed him. Not friendly to me when I finally did see him. I think he could use an attitude adjustment. Worst Dr. I've ever had and I've had many being 76 years old.

I have never met Dr, Roytman, but I was told he was on call for the Urology clinic at Queen'sw West . I have been on Testosterone replacement therapy for the last 3 years. My urologist in Fort Worth prescribed my standeard Testosterone dose and sent it to COSCO pharnacy in Fort Worth ---- however COSTCO phamacy here said they could not transfer the prescription here because Testosterone is a schedule 2 narcotic --- and Hawaiian state law says no provider outside the island can write for a schedule 2 drug in Hawaii. I brought the prescription vial to the Urology clinic ----- the tech, Timothy , refused to come out and talk with me, and sdaid he would call me, which of c0urse he never did. Over my chart I gave the orovider's name in Fort Worth, and their phone # but no one called.. Timothy wrote on My Chart that my request was denied by Dr. Roytman. The Urologist at Queen's West, Dr.. Peers was evidently never told about this.

Excellent 1st Impression My 1st visit as a new patient was due to a referral by my family doctor. I was scheduled for a biopsy and Dr. Roytman was both very helpful, and very clear with answering my questions re: the procedure. I also had other concerns and Dr. Roytman’s knowledge, genuine concern, and comforting mannerisms put my mind at ease that I was in good hands. I am extremely happy that my doctor’s referral choice is Dr. Roytman.

Dr Roytman abruptly stopped seeing me without any advance warning nor reason other than having staff say that he wouldn’t be servicing the Big island anymore. He also declined to refill my medications he had prescribed and had his staff inform me to find another urologist. Repeated calls and messages left for him were not returned. I subsequently learned that “the entire office staff was fired”. I was instructed to submit all of my lab results for his review and he would contact me thereafter. The labs were submitted and received but Roytman never contacted me. Never experienced this kind of behavior from a physician heretofore. Be aware and advised!

Several years ago my husband was diagnosed with prostrate cancer. We interviewed 5 doctors before we chose Dr. Roytman to be his doctor. We picked Dr. Roytman due to his knowledge in this area, his training, his experience and his kind heart. Dr. Roytman guided us through this journey with encouragement, he took the time to explain the process and his bedside manner is outstanding! Dr. Roytman performed surgery on my husband with great success and two and a half years later my husband is cancer free. I would definitely recommend Dr. Roytman!!!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr Roytman. I was incredibly anxious about my condition when I came in to see him and his expert knowledge and calming bedside manner really put me at ease. He genuinely cares and I am so grateful for all his help.

Can’t think of too many docs that call you on a Sunday to check on you and make sure you’re doing well. Top class care!
