My son starting seeing Robert Locklear at Xplor Counseling about a year ago. During a very short time Robert was able to really connect with my son and help him tremendously in dealing with his anxiety. Today my son is a very functional individual eager to take on new challenges. The staff at Xplor was also very helpful in helping me navigate my insurance coverage so that I had a clear understanding about what my financial obligations would be. Never having sought out therapeutic services before, I had no idea what my out-of-pocket expenses would be. The friendly staff at Xplor helped explain that insurance companies set the price and that I would only have to pay the copay after I met my plan deductible.

During this pandemic myself and 2 kids have felt like we have lost a lot of our usual senses. After calling a long list of counselors (a lot of whom didn’t even pick up) I found this one business. They were so helpful and fast. They made it so easy to make our appointments and told me that it would be a few days before I heard anything but I was able to have my appointment the same week. They helped me decide who my kids should see and they will have appointments next week. There are a lot of counselors on staff so it seems they can manage any trouble we may be having. I’m so relieved to finally find a place that is easy to work with.

I cannot say enough good things about Joanne H and the rest of Xplor Counseling. I was Joanne's client for three months. She has help me address my "why" and was there for me as I did my deep dive into who I was, am and will be. She was empathetic, caring and was able to help me look at things with a brand new perspective. Thank you Joanne!

Her knowledge, creativity, and passion shine through in her interactions with others. Professional and personable, Britt at Xplor has been great helping our family communicate and keep an open mind while addressing the ups and downs of family life. Parents and children can really benefit from learning to address everyday issues and applying techniques to improve ourselves and our relationships. If you have a specific problem or just want to improve the way your family dynamic functions - this is a great place to start.

So professional, really helpful and supportive. I'm glad I found them and that I started doing this journey. Therapy isn't always the most comfortable thing but it's so worth it.
