I’m not going to lie, I was so scared having my first skin cancer removed off my chest due to years of being in the sun. Dr. Cook and her assistant the day of my procedure were the best! Both were so supportive and kept me talking about positive things throughout the procedure and made me feel so safe and cared for. It’s been 3 weeks since my surgery and my scar is already disappearing and I’m cancer free!!! Don’t wait, call her if you are looking for a dermatologist that is not only highly trained and experienced but kind and caring to your concerns and explains your options to let you decide how you want to handle your treatment, Definitely my dermatologist from now on. Thank you Dr. Cook, I’m so grateful you choice this as your career. Your heart is truly in it.

I have been going to Dr.Cook for over 5 years. Extremely, caring doctor and staff. I refuse to go to anyone else. Never had any issues with scheduling or returning my calls in a timely manner. Dr Cook takes the time to listen your issues and concerns and explains the process to you in a way you could understand and feel comfortable on your decision making.

Dr. Cook is an excellent dermatologist. She takes the time to listen and explains things as she does procedures. I think she feels more pain than I do as she does injections and apologizes for the "ouchy" . Her office staff are efficient, and professional. Like all good doctors on Maui, it may take a while to get an appointment so if you're lucky enough to get one, it's well worth the wait and I wouldn't miss it. Your skin will thank you!

I've been a patient of Dr. Cooks for almost 6 years. I missed 2 appointments with Dr Cook's office over this time period (the last due to them having the wrong contact information for me and autoscheduling appointments). I spoke with patient advocates about the issue to no avail they would not re-instate me as a patient. On an island with so few medical providers, do not waste your time with a doctor who does not care for their patients and will completely abandon them without recourse.

Dr Cook and staff are careing and kind they take care of my skin conditions so well. She is the only doctor I look forward to seeing. Her staff is the best. Thank you for treating me

Dr. Cook is very cold and unfeeling. I will go to anybody on this island before I would ever return to her office. She walked out of the appointment and refused to treat my worst skin cancers or even look at them. She said my time was up. Totally unprofessional.

Dr Cook’s staff treated us rudely after we drove all the way from West Maui, arrived within the 15-minute appointment window, but nevertheless were told we were too late. It was clear that Dr Cook had left her office. Dr Cook then wrote us a rude letter telling us she would not treat us again except in an emergency. We will never use Dr Cook again.

Never a problem with Dr. Cook. She is a wonderful doctor. However, we have had our share of problems with her nurse, Edie. Edie has no bed side manners. She is rude and cold. She becomes frustrated easily and seems as if she wants to be done with you quickly. My wife and I dread seeing her, but as soon as Dr. Cook enters the room, all is good.

Dr. Cook is AWESOME! Not only is she an incredible doctor, she's very personable and takes time to talk with you. Our whole family goes to her with trust and confidence. We have tried other doctors and although they were great and nice, Dr. Cook has a special way of making you feel at ease while she's examining you. She speaks matter of factly, which we like, and also eases your concerns.
