Lehualani Concepcion's Online Review Report Card

I saw another Dr. at this facility before a friend referred me to Dr.Conception. I told this other doctor I was in so much pain I could not hold my new born child upright and he told me to tough it out and take more ibuprofen. I did, until the point I was having major side effects from it and was still in pain. I wound up loosing all feeling in one of my limbs and going to Castle ER before getting a proper diagnosis. I then saw Dr.Conception who took my complaints seriously, treated my symptoms, and ordered an follow up testing. From there we found out the real problem and to date I am in what will be lifelong treatment for my conditions. When I was truly at a low point, in so much pain I couldn’t see or hold my child, Dr. Conception and her assistant Dawn believed me and helped me find solutions. I’ve since moved and am with a new doctor, but I called to thank them recently and wanted to let others know that there are still compassionate, professional doctors out there that really care about their patients and Dr. Conception is one of them. Thank you Dr. C and Dawn for helping me get back on track.

Dr. Concepcion is a stern & caring doctor. She always wants the best for her patients & always finds the best solutions and will follow up every treatment she prescribes.

I do not recommend Dr. Concepcion. She told me that she did not have time to address all of my concerns after coming in 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Her communication was demeaning and it was clear that she did not have time for me.

Dr Concepcion has been consistently attentive, kind and professional in caring for my 94 year old mother. At the first indication of swelling in her feet, Dr Concepcion sent her for an ultrasound and a clot was found behind her knee. On other occasions she has been extremely conscience in Mom's care. I appreciate her very much.

She is marvelous. She observes and listens, noticing things about my movements, speech and skin tell tales. She finds the problem and then works to correct it. If I have a qestion I forgot to ask during my visit, I can easily email her thru the system employed by Straub Clinic. I receive answers promptly with all the necessary information. She is a marvelous Dr. Physician, and caring individual. I am so glad I found her.

Seems knowledgeable but her follow up is horrible. She pawns off return phone calls to her medical assistant,Kristy, that is inept and does a poor job on getting her work done timely (i.e. Referral paperwork). They fall behind on appointment times & they do a poor job communicating with the front desk. I used to like my doctors at Straub but I'm losing faith quickly.

She actually followed up and gave me a few different courses of action. Kind of nice in today's world.

All the staff were great. I was put in a room and seen quickly, which was great since I had a meeting I had to get to. The doctor gave me a lot of information about my problems, which I liked. I also received written instructions before I left, which was extremely helpful. I will definitely be back. I had an excellent experience with Dr. Concepcion and her staff.

Staff are decent but Dr. Concepcion, is hands down, the worst physician I have ever gone to. I should have fired her 3.5 years ago but initially I thought she was just having a bad day. Turns out she is just antagonistic, condescending, doctor with marginal skills, the bedside manner of a trapped animal, a napolean complex, and never memorized the Hippocratic oath. Do yourself a favor and go with another doctor.

I was impressed with this young doctor, until she repeatedly didn't honor my requests to test for diabetes. Honestly, she was personable and easy to talk to, seemed to know what she was doing.Then I got really, really sick and also went to her with a lump in my breast. She "diagnosed" it as tissue thickening. Because I was sick with other things, I attended to those and then went for a routine test. The intervening year gave enough time for the cancer to metastasize. When my family and I talked to her about it, she totally could not have cared less.Yeah, I wouldn't send my sick dog to her, much less anyone I cared about!
