I love this Kaiser! Everyone who works here is pleasant, professional, and helpful. Whether I'm calling for advice, assistance, or an appointment, I'm always appreciative of the service. My children specifically see Dr. Morimoto and Dr. Patel. These two doctors are fantastic! They are knowledgeable, compassionate, and courteous. My children really like and trust them as do I. They have made after-hours phone calls and filled out numerous sports physicals, back-to-class clearances, and other miscellaneous papers we need. I am just so pleased with the doctors, nurses, and all who work here and thankful for the great care they provide.

I LOVE KAISER KO’OLAU!! EVERYONE is SO nice and helpful. The pharmacy staff is so caring, discrete and personable...I LOVE LORENA (hug Bailey pups for me!!) & ALL the ladies who work there!! The lab & X-ray techs, as well as entire staff are all very friendly and prompt. No ouchies when drawing blood! Lol! The front office staff is always attentive and cheerful!! I’m pretty sure I’ve seen practically EVERY doctor, PA & nurse at this facility and I’m ALWAYS treated with respect and ALL my health concerns are always addressed. They are like family. They really are. My adult son is autistic and Dr. Kuwaye is an absolute pro when it comes to connecting with him. He knows exactly the right things to say. He’s the best! My parents, husband & children would agree with me that we ALL spend WAY too much time at Kaiser Ko’olau...LOL!! I personally am very great full for the aggressive follow through of my Drs Among & Quinio, who helped procure all the countless tests and diagnostics to discover a brain tumor that was overlooked by a NON Kaiser facility on the mainland. I really wish I had Kaiser back in the day...but I’m blessed to have my team of Kaiser specialists at MOANALUA, Drs Lenart Neurosurgery & Kim ENT, who have been taking very good care of me. Thank you Kaiser Ko’olau and Kaiser Hawai’i for their Ohana philosophy of medical care and for their perseverance. There are many more individuals to recognize, but they ALL know who they are!! LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS ALL OF YOU...you guys are hands down the best!!

This Kaiser has a great crew working and is always clean! Walk in wait times may vary, but you can always call ahead. Bathrooms, TV, drinking fountain, they really make being in a hospital less intimidating! What I love about the location is, it is so close to the windward city shopping mall which is just across the street.

Kaiser Koolau has the best birthing classes available on the Windward side. Highly recommend all expecting Kaiser parents to attend the classes.

Medical staff is awesome, above and beyond. The HMO totally sucks, closing the clinics on Saturday. I guess to save money but inconvenient to us.

Customer service never ceases to amaze me. Whether I'm a well patient or am feeling horrible the employees are always friendly and helpful no matter how busy they may be. The renovation brought them up to standard but the facility has ALWAYS been clean and sanitary.
