Would not recommend Dr Petrillo! My mother saw him for 3 years with kidney failure. The diagnosis causing the failure was uncontrolled blood pressure. Her blood pressure at every visit for three years was not high. He never looked scanned her kidney not performed a biopsy, despite not having proof of the cause. He discharged her from care after three years. She DIED six months later, of KIDNEY CANCER. How do you go to a kidney specialist for 3 years and not have them find cancer that completely engulfed the kidney and had spread throughout the body?

Upon meeting Dr. Petrillo, it was evident of his care and concern for my Mother's well being. Changing, eliminating or questioning medications for future use was discussed in a very compassionate manner. Thank you for everything, but most importantly making the connection with my Mom.

Dr. Petrillo is way more than a nephrologist, he is a caring physician who genuinely tries to help his patients. He took the time to help me figure out what could heal me even though it was in areas beyond the function of my kidneys. He did this by teaching, explaining, and kind words. He did not rush the session. And he calendared a follow up phone call to me in two weeks, even though he did not feel I was going to need a follow up visit. Top of my chart for physicians I have seen. Thank you!

Dr. Petrillo is a phenomenal hypertension specialist. He is the first doctor able to help me get my blood pressure under control in 11 years.
