For our family, working with Dr Gabi has been real eye opener. Often children misbehave because their parents are not consistent with discipline and want to be "friends" with their kids. Dr. Gabi has reminded us that, as parents, we are actually in charge of our teenager. The most interesting was that it seemed that our son really needed us to take the power back from him. We have been making good progress in improving behavior and overall family relationships since we started working with Dr. Gabi in December 2021.
There are many similarities in previous postings and had I reviewed them my time with Dr Rimm would have ended much sooner.Oh my! He does love to share with you his accomplishments and the technique's he's learned over the years and then your session is over. After my session's I would go over what Dr Rimm discussed we me. I was amazed others shared the same thoughts. It's more a Dr Rimm me session. He gets paid and his clients/patient's get to make another appointment to listen to Dr Rimm talk about his knowledge and his success.During one of my session's I had to ask him to quit talking. I had enough listening about his accomplishments.Another family member had several visits with Dr Rimm and would be so frustrated after each visit with him and again for similar reasons. It was about Michael Rimm!Due to lack of professional guidance by Dr Rimm, the issue in their personal life did not end well.A situation that needed assistance by a professional and was ignored due to ego of a Dr of Psychiatric medicine had a turn of event that was unnecessary.Anyone who reads this I can only suggest be smart, trust yourself and read other reviews.Even a guy like this scores once in awhile. The best in your search for healthy mental health...David
My son is 11 yrs old and have seen Dr Gabrielle for his autism and ADHD a couple times just before the pandemic hit. Recently I been trying to get him an appointment to see her again, especially because we were in the process of getting him an ABA. We never got to that point due to the pandemic. So I tried to get him in since he has been suicidal. They turned him away, saying they were full and not taking new patients. Ummm he was already a patient. In My situation I would expect them to find time for him. Her assistant, Jessica was really rude saying "Don't you understand what full means?" yes I do! But do you understand what suicidal means?!!! They need to be more compassionate on our children who are so vulnerable, frustrated and depressed. My son needs help and will only see her. He has seen other psychiatrist but refuses to see them. My son feels comfortable talking to her. I told them all this and still they refused to see him. I was so mad that I hung up, because my blood pressure was boiling and not so nice words would've came out of my mouth. So that is why I gave them a one star. It's sad that one of the people my son felt he could trust, won't see him 🤦♀️🤬
Incompetent. Child abuser.
It has been my experience that Dr. Gabi is kind, extremely professional, and genuinely committed to her practice. It is wildly difficult to find a health care provider who is interested in their patients as people, rather than just numbers and letters on a chart. Dr. Gabi is one of these people.
