Andrew Dang's Online Review Report Card

Dr Dang is a very unempathetic Dr that focuses only on lab numbers, which do not focus on the full health of a patient. His diet advice is “no carbs and no sugar”. He seems to rely on his medical assistant to assess the patient , so that his precious time is not wasted. He may be a highly regarded internist but is lacking in the human connection gene, that would make him a great dr. Seeing Dr Dang and trying to pass his numbers test , raises a persons blood pressure. He can be curt and condescending. I did manage to make him laugh , so there is a human underneath somewhere. Thinking I may need a Pcp change.

My Father is elderly, hard of hearing and vision. He recently fell and broke his hip. Dr Dang is his PCM and my fathers follow up, post HIP replacement surgery was today. Dr Dang Lacks true bedside Manner and compassion. He even refused my request to help my father up from his seat, in the patient room, and just walked out, saying he would ask nurse. I will be filing a complaint and seeking a new PCM for my Father!

Dr. Dang has been my primary care doctor for a few years. It is so hard to get a appointment with this guy, you would have to wait 3-4 months. Before my last visit it was ok. Recent visit seems like I was being rushed out and would not listen to my issues regarding my health. Seems like the load of patients he cares for has made him overwhelmed and now very much lacks the compassion and quality care for his patients and is more about quantity. Fricken guy did not want to refill my presciption for a new cpap machine and says I need a new sleep studies test...but what he didn't know was my sleep studies test is still good for 5 years. After the visit I automatically went to the clinic staff requesting my release for my medical records to switch PCP. I would definitely give this guy negative stars.

If I could give Dr. Dang a negative 100 I would. In my opinion he is a disgrace to the medical profession. My Dad goes to him every 5 months for regular lab tests and review of his lab tests. On our last visit I timed Dr. Dang as I have been upset because his office visits seemed short. Last visit. In at 9:38. Out at 9:40! A whopping 2 minutes! It would have been even shorter, but he asked if we had any concerns, and I said that my Dad has had a cough for the last few weeks. A quick look at his throat and Dr. Dang decided it was allergies. My father is 81 years old and not very assertive. I have been his advocate for the last couple of years. Dr, Dang's style of medical treatment is faster than fast food. I feel like his goal is to get patients in and out of his office as quickly as possible. The more patients he can run through the day, the more profitable it is for him. He lacks the compassion and care of a truly good Dr. I hope that if he has aging parents, that their Drs take the time to talk and listen to them. I hope that they get more than 2minutes of their Doctors time.

I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Dang called me directly to follow up after my visits with him about medical tests or medications. I've never had a Doctor who did that. I used to live a block away from his location, but now I live about 32 miles. He is worth every mile.

Dr. Dang has been my primary care physician for 5 years. He is very intelligent and thorough. Nothing gets by him. He is kind and compassionate. I believe he is one of the best doctors I have ever had. His staff is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I am lucky to have him for my primary physician!
