I have been attending upcountry Maui Optix for many years. In my opinion their staff and the various doctors on staff are young, vibrant, awesome and welcoming to all of their patients, new or returning. Dr. Higuchi as well as the other doctors at Maui Optix are very knowledgeable, professional and patient friendly. I was serviced today by Dr. Higuchi and enjoyed her calm and kind hearted demeanor. I enjoy her soft, soothing voice as she explains every step of the pre-tests that I have gone through with clear, definitive interpretation of my eye exam. She reviews history to current information and gives suggestions on what has changed or not. Compiling the goal going forward to impact the health of my eyes referencing, the 3D viewing on her computer of my eyes. Annual exams were beneficial for me because Dr. HIguchi found the lining of my left eye were thinning. This sparked her interest to do further tests within the next month for a possibility of glaucoma treatment. Early detection is very necessary in all areas of our human body. Finally, I totally trust Maui Optix for my eye care for the rest of my life that there is no need to look any further for another eye clinic. They are the Bomb... Best...Awesome...5+ Stars!!! I appreciate your dedication in servicing our Maui community. Mahalo Nui Loa!!!

Dr, Higuchi is very patient and always takes the time to explain my test results to me thoroughly even if it's something that was explained to me last year. The staff is also very helpful and courteous.

WOW, what an amazing experience from beginning to end. Answering my basic questions to setting up an appointment, the exam, the Dr, help in selecting the right pair of glasses to explaining the breakdown of my out-of-pocket expenses...PHENOMENAL! Everyone was professional, courteous, kind and patient. I will definately share my experience and highly recommend Maui Optix. Mahalo!
