Dr. Yap does not take the time to hear the patient/parent nor does she care. This was the most horrible experience ever with a pediatrician and actually worse than any doctor visit as she screamed at me over the phone and did not bother to see my child over video to evaluate as in person was not an option either “due to my child’s symptoms”. I would NOT recommend her as she is extremely inappropriate and unprofessional.

She's smart, conscientious and knows more about medicine than just prescribing pills. (My family is using supplements to control some of my kids' issues quite successfully and she's open to trying natural therapies first if there are any available that work and are properly manufactured, which ours are. In other words, if the more natural approach works, she won't shun you.) She is proactive, professional, compassionate and thorough. If you were on the fence about changing pediatricians, she's a solid bet. I would recommend her to anyone.

Dr Yap is very friendly & knowledgeable. She takes time to thoroughly answer all of your questions without feeling rushed. Waiting time has been minimal in my experience. I would recommend her!
