List of Ryan Fusato Md's Reviews
Surgery was done 6 weeks ago and have been trying to get a referral to PT. Every time I speak with office staff (after a 20 minute hold time on the phone), they give an excuse why he hasn’t followed up (the message system is down, they are short staffed). I called the surgeon and the referral was sent over in 15 minutes. The problem is the surgeon said patients need to follow up with their PCP for any post-op issues. More than a month of calling and no response from Dr. Fusato. Going to change to a PCP who actually cares about their patients.
Dr. Fusato has been my PCP for over 3 years now. I have several complicated medical conditions that he follows and consults with several specialists that he's referred me to. Dr. Fusato shows that he cares and is willing to help me in any way that he can. The staff at his office are wonderful, responsive, and empathetic as well.
Excellent doctor. Puts you at ease immediately. Good listener. Great follow up. Truly cares about his patients.
He is a good listener and asks the right questions to make a diagnosis. Does not rush you out the door. Very caring.
Extremely long waits, they NEVER answer the phone and rarely return calls. I had a potentially fatal issue he failed to diagnose. I gave google the symptoms to find out what it was, then I got proper treatment from another doctor - google helped me more that Fusato. He's a sloth.
I went to Dr. Fusato hoping for a fresh review of an existing condition. He listened to me, summarized what I said, but got everything completely incorrect. This should have been a warning to me. I reworded my history to him and his scribe, and he recapped it correctly the second time. After my labs came back, Dr. Fusato recommended a drug I had already told him I did not want and had already tried. He didn't recommend it despite this fact, rather, he had forgotten that I had already taken it. He recommended a new drug, but when I went to fill the prescription, it was for the drug I told him I did not want. There should also have been a second Rx, which the pharmacy never received. I tried calling his office for a week. Someone would answer the main #, but they couldn't help me, and everyone else they transferred me to didn't answer or return voicemails. Finally, Dr. Fusato called me back. He blamed the pharmacy for the incorrect Rx. He said they substituted the prescription on their own without consulting him, which is actually illegal and makes me think Dr. Fusato lied (either that or Costco is randomly changing Rx's). I asked about the Rx that was completely missing, and he got upset and asked that I let him finish explaining what went on with the first Rx. I hadn't interrupted him at all, so I was confused by this. He then repeated the exact same story, after which I again asked about the second Rx that was totally missing. His verbatim reply was, "I don't know". He ended the conversation by coldly asking me if I wanted the prescriptions or not. I cannot, in good faith, recommend a doctor from an unresponsive office who makes mistakes, acts rude when discussing them (I was calm and professional when speaking to him), and then sums everything up with "I don't know". Find a doctor who does know.
Dr. Fusato prescribed me two prescriptions. When I went to fill them, one was wrong and the other was missing. It took 25 phone calls over a week for his office to answer the phone. Finally, Dr. Fusato called me and brusquely blamed the pharmacy for the incorrect Rx. When I asked about the Rx they had no record of, he coldly said, "I don't know". If you want a doctor who screws up prescriptions and then is rude about it (if you get to anyone to pick up the phone), this is your guy.
What can I say, he is the best. Needed some time off from work and he was more than willing to give me any note I wanted or needed. He did not even talk about my progress, just allowed me to stay home and collect. I would highly recommend him to anyone who feels they need some time off from work.

Great Doctor if you want to milk the system and stay out from work

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
