Alan Parsa's Online Review Report Card

After visiting EVERY Endcocrinologist on the island, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Parsa. He was originally my last choice because he had less stars than the other doctors - BIG MISTAKE. I am writing this review because Dr. Parsa is the BEST endocrinologist you will find on this island. He is up to date on current pumps and software and goes over your pump/CGM reports with you. My previous doctor (Dr. Singer) only knew about one type of insulin pump and did not attempt to learn about the one that I am on and only suggested that I speak to the pump representative with any questions?! He would not even look at my pump reports and would only go off of my lab work. Dr. Parsa is the best doctor you will find, I’ve been a diabetic for 30 years and have had several doctors due to military moves. Dr. Parsa is one of THE BEST doctors I have ever had, go see him!

Waited a while to see him. From the get go he didn't seem to care about actually helping me. He didn't even bother to run tests. I was told my my past NP that it was most likely because I have Medicare. He said that he wasn't the specialist that could help me. When in fact I've had 3 doctors tell me i need to see an endocrinologist. Very unsympathetic and obviously just didn't want to work with me

I have never been so frustrated in my life. The doctor is OK, but the office manager is impossible. It took a dozen phone calls over a period of over two months to get my prescription all because the office manager could not seem to get a PA from my insurance company. I ended up yelling at them in the end. When you go into the office there are piles of paper everywhere. So totally disorganized I wonder what they do with your records? I’ll never go back there again.

Horrible doctor. Thinks he knows your body more then you do . Just perscibes you medication not knowing what doses is required. Complete watse of time better off finding another Doctor

Dr. Parsa accepted me as a new patient when it was urgent that I see an endocrinologist. I know he is very busy and I am grateful he worked me into his schedule quickly. He’s polite, knowledgeable, and doesn’t make you feel rushed. He took the time to explain what he was going to prescribe me, how it works, and why I needed to take it. I left the office feeling as if I were lucky to become a patient of his, and anyone who knows me knows that when it comes to doctors, I expect more than most doctors are willing to give. I was not disappointed at all with his advice, recommendations, attitude, or his front office staff. They were just as friendly and that’s always a plus!

Very personable and spends time with you; has a humble demeanor yet professiona with valuable mana`o but not itimidating. Highly recommend this physician, especially if you are not a western medicine fan but need a western physician for care.
