Smug, egotistical, abandoned his patients in Eureka California where he just left his position without so much as a word to any of his patients and some of us were in the waiting room to find out results of very important scans. What he did to the rural community was completely unjustified and wrong.

Dr. seemed very caring; willing to listen to questions re: condition and gave well thought out answers.

Dr. Coty is very good at calming patients who have life-threatening disease (incurable cancer) and giving them hope. He is aware of the medical treatment protocols and future treatments being researched. He is both a hemotologist and an oncologist, very knowledgeable. He is not afraid to order necessary tests just b/c costs are supposed to be kept down.

Curt and rude most of the time. Looks at you as if waiting for you to give him the answer to your own question. You'll get a yes, no, or maybe, but no direct verbal answer if you ask for or about something. If you are stuck with Kaiser, then you're stuck with Dr Coty as well.
