I was referred to Dr. Tafoya by my regular eye doctor for a retina detachment in my right eye. He's def one of the best doctors on island! He is very straight to the point and does not sugar coat (which I rather prefer). Very knowledgeable and knows what he is doing! His staff is very friendly and I did not have any issues when scheduling appointments or needed documents sent to my HR (they were very on point).Thank you Dr. Tafoya for helping me with my vision!

Dr. Tofoya is a nice man, however his receptionist up front was another story. This young haole girl has an attitude big time. Us local girls would have slapped her silly but did not. Everyone else was nice and kind and very understanding. After talking to the doctor about his requirements for pictures for his files I understood. But this young haole girl should learn some manners and respect for everyone, especially with us older local girls before she gets slapped silly one day.

Ive been going to dr.tafoya for quite awhile. Ive never had any issues regarding his practice. He is a very thorough doctor. He along with his staff are always very pleasant. Although sometimes the wait is a little long, but most times its usually because dr.tafoya had some kind of emergency. No matter what doctor you go to , there will always be a wait time. Sometimes longer, but im sure they dont make people wait on purpose. They do their best to get everyone in on a timely manner. At least their office is clean and their air condition works. Lol just sayin.

Long wait times, over 2 hours. Majority of staff not friendly. Overcrowded waiting room with insufficient seating, so many need to stand for long periods. Exam rooms cluttered and ceilings are leaking.

I have been an RN nurse educator for over 50 years on the mainland and I highly recommend Dr. Toyfoya for retinal or any significant eye complication. I have complete confidence in this physician he is amazing and staff are highly trained. I recommend him to everyone facing ophthalmic problems.

My Optometrist referred me to Dr. Tafoya after discovering my macular degeneration problem. With his state-of-the-art equipment, he skillfully attended to my eye problem and now I can see so much better! I rate Dr. Tafoya a Five Star rating! He is the best!

My first meeting with Dr. Tafoya was pretty scary because he described the process for my eye treatment of macular degeneration. Amidst high anxiety and fear, decided to go ahead with the treatment. Best decision I ever made in a long while! He is a very caring doctor and I highly recommend him to anyone with this disease.
