This Place Is And Always Have Been Horrible

Wait is ridiculous staff is horrible and rude I can’t believe I waited in lobby in pain for 4 hours before even going back to a room this just so unprofessional and just flat out ridiculous

Horrible ER and hospital. They even took my blood in the waiting room at ER. Unbelievable experience. Go to OSF.

I'd recommend going to a different hospital if you can, they don't take the health of one's being seriously. Pathetic my nephew has a 105.1 temp and still sitting here for over 2 hours

I brought my 69 yr old father in for dehydration and malnutrition and severe weakness (he couldn’t even hold his head up) and he had been very sick for several weeks. First we were left in the waiting room for 4 hours as he vomited and lay on the floor writhing in pain. (I have pics of this) I couldn’t even get them to give me a pillow or a blanket for him. We finally get taken back and tests were done. I hear the doctor approach the door saying to a nurse ok let’s go get this over with. The door opens and he walks in and informs us my dad has advanced liver cancer. When asked what needs to be done he said call an oncologist in the morning and discharged my dad with an anti nausea prescription. I got him into an oncologist the next morning who upon walking in the room took one look at my dad and asked me why he wasn’t admitted the night before and immediately called an ambulance with orders to have him admitted for dehydration and malnutrition!!!!! That’s what I would like to know!!! Ridiculous and very poor medical care especially for someone who had just been given news that he was dying.

My pregnant sister left in tears tonight! Waited 2 hours in the waiting room before getting a room & then shoved in a room with not even one pillow. Didn’t offer her a gown, or even check her baby’s vitals. Rude & hateful nurses who yelled at her multiple times to calm down while she was having a panic attack!!!! She was already miserable & the nurse blew her vain after 5 minutes of trying to get it. She had a fever & was dehydrated & they kicked her to the curb while her IV drip was still half full! I could go on! She is traumatized. Absolutely unacceptable!

there is no reason in the world as to why they have 6 people sitting at the nurses station and them just making you wait 6-12 hours to get seen in the ER. and then when they do get in there they are so rude to you for even coming into their hospital...id rather die as to have to be seen there ever again.
