Went into urgent care, and saw Dr Currie for an issue today. They were very helpful and did everything they could to help me. Great doctor. Will definitely be back if I have another issue. The front desk was also friendly and got me checked in quickly. Be prepared for a wait, as that’s just how the world works. There’s lots of people that need help but they can only go so fast, while also providing quality care. I got there early so the wait wasn’t very long and only spent half an hour there

My wife saw a doctor at Unity Point in Altoona, Iowa, for medical help after a fall down the stairs resulting in back and hip pain. They said Friday, Jan. 28, that they would schedule an MRI. Here it is Friday, Feb. 3 and not only did they not yet schedule an MRI, but they did not call her back the last two days when they said they would. They had called the insurance company and they claimed they never received any request for MRI, then yesterday Unity said they were waiting for insurance authorization. They told me wife that it would be another week. She is in extreme pain and they do not seem to care about getting her help. It's turned out to be a joke of a clinic. It looks like it's a trip to the emergency room and forking out big bucks because UNITY does not care! We will probably go somewhere else from now on! Today we were just informed by the insurance company that they just today got the request from Unity. Are you kidding? They said "Unity dropped the ball." They wasted an entire week before the asked for an MRI for my wife.

Took all day to get a prescription to get called in after calling 4 time. When they finally did call it in the pharmacy said insurance wouldn’t cover it because it was something that could be bought over the counter. All that hassle for nothing. Thanks

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Multiple times I have gone to the walk in clinic and been misdiagnosed. Recently due to medical reasons I am unable to get to my Unitypoint doctor on the South side and this office has been less than helpful getting information over to them for me. The staff was very rude. Would never recommend this office.

We have been going here to Laura Francisco for years. My son ADORES her just as much as I do. It's not often you find a care provider that takes the time to make sure all of your questions are answered and you are leaving feeling comfortable no matter how busy she may be. She's kind, compassionate, and has an over abundance of knowledge. She never pushes medicines and offers all information for me to make my own informed decision. I cannot say enough good about her. I have never left her office without feeling informed and knowing she will answer any questions I continue to have even after I leave. I wish all doctors were like Laura Francisco!

Laura Francisco is GREAT she goes above and beyond helping people. Like she did with Me when i had my shoulder replaced last April..... Thanks Laura!

10/10. When traveling, you can only hope to find walk-in care this excellent. I would make this my acute care go-to clinic if I lived here. All personnel and Dr. Treimer were top-notch. It was clean and pleasant throughout. I was seen and diagnosed promptly. Best ever!

Great doctors and staff.

When I have an appointment or go to the walk in I am never there waiting hours to be seen. The staff and doctors take the time to listen to you and not feel rushed out the door.

My kids and I LOVE Laura Francisco! She is great with kids, always listens and responds quickly to any questions over the Care App!
