List of Gregory L. Christiansen's Reviews
Made wrong prescription for eyes causing many trips to rectify and didn’t by him. Also changed the best lens during cataract surgery to a lower kind and refunded money. Is that part of the cause of loss of vision? Would certainly not recommend him although personal guy.
Didn't seem interested in answering my concerns.
I'm quite surprised by the number of positive reviews. Dr. Christiansen was condescending, rude and abrupt during my routine eye exam. He is clearly full of himself. While his office staff is personable, the process of completing the eye exam was drawn out. I will be looking for a new eye doctor.
BUYER BEWARE! If you choose this clinic be FORWARNED! A typical eye exam at this clinic will take at least 4 hours! (Most clinics are 30 - 90 minutes.) You'll be seen first by a technician that has not been trained on the antiquated equipment used here. A second technician will be called in to explain the old equipment, and you'll have to start all over again. Once you go through the first part of your exam, you'll be sent to a waiting room, or as I call it "the room of death". You'll sit there for 1 - 2 hours with nothing to do. If you're lucky, you'll get called to see the doctor, who will spend 3 - 6 minutes with you. The doctor will get up an walk away even though you're asking questions! The technician that didn't know how to use the equipment is now left to answer your questions.
Horror story. This idiot asked my wife if she was sexually active and told her I was cheating on her and that she had a STD in her eye. I’m not joking! This actually happened!
Patient beware: Dr. Christiansen will require you to undergo a $30 digital eye scan that is not covered by insurance. The staff does not inform you of the required scan when you make your appointment, only when you show up in person for the appointment. If you decline the scan, he will refuse to see you. :-( Good luck!
Over the years, I've had many eye exams, and these folks are the most thorough by far. This is my second year with Clarus Vision Clinic. I've been very impressed Dr. Christiansen, his staff, and their facility. Do plan on spending some time there. There is not a long wait time to start your exam with their techs, but the doctor himself may take a little while to get in to see you as he does spend quality time with each patient.
Dr. Christiansen is one of the best surgeons around and Dr chism is one of the best Optometrists I've seen.
I have been going to Clarus for a few years now. A few things I believe they are incredible at: -I love the secretaries. They remember me year after year and are always helpful. -the techs are also very helpful and kind -the place is immaculate -everyone is very professional -they make it easy to schedule appts Some things I wish were a little better: -the friendliness of their doctors, they should take note from the secretaries and techs -the wait to see the doctor. For the past few visits
My appointment was first thing in the AM, no wait time, seen in a very timely matter. Dr & technicians were all very kind, helpful knowledgeable & informative. Beautiful facility as well. I highly recommend for all your vision needs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
