I saw Dr. Matthes for knee injections and 24 hours later l am feeling so much better. He took x-rays and took to discuss them with me. He knows right WHERE to put the medicine. I like his "bedside" manner. He's kind, gentle and never seems rushed to me like some doctor's appointment are but l didn't have a long wait to see him either. Thanks, Dr. Matthes!

I had a successful procedure done at Iowa Ortho 11 years ago. The Dr who performed that surgery moved out of state and I needed another surgeon at the clinic to consult with about another issue. I looked thru the Drs listed on line and saw Dr Matthes and decided to ask for an appointment with him after looking at his bio and great reviews. I was very impressed with his “bedside”manner and his kind, position personality. He was very attentive and explained things thoroughly. I will highly recommend him to my friends and family.

I saw Dr. Matthes yesterday regarding knee pain....he was extremely helpful in providing options for me! He also had done a miniscus repair for me several years ago...remarkably, I had absolutely no pain at all after surgery. He is extremely personable and gives you all the time you need!
