Dr Schmitz repaired my low back from a previous surgery that was a failure by a different surgeon. I thought I would have to live with the pain for the rest of my days. May the Lord guide his hands as he continues helping me with another upcoming neck surgery. I have all the confidence I need that Dr Schmitz will have a successful surgery to release some of the pain I am now experiencing!!

I saw Dr. Trevor Schmitz for chronic back pain. I’ve gone through physical therapy and epidurals. Nothing helps and it has been getting worse. He told me his recommendation and when I told him okay to do it, he told me to think about it and discuss it with my family. He told me the risks involved and took his time answering my questions. I thought he was great.

Dr. Trevor Schmitz is caring, compassionate, a great listener and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Schmitz does a excellent job of diagramming and explaining. He is willing to reach out to experts in his field to get their opinions. Central Iowa is fortunate to have Dr. Trevor Schmitz, a top notch doctor!!

Check in went well and waiting was minimal. Dr. Schmitz was friendly and did an assessment. Then off to x-ray. Dr. Schmitz explained the x-ray and recommended the next step in a timely manner.

He takes his time with you. I have never felt he rushed thru appt....explains things...always waits for any questions you may have. Surgery went fine....Hopefully there will be full recovery...only been 6 weeks. Nice guy too
