Express at cancelling out patients without assessing!

Not an actual express clinic. This is just a regular clinic with 1 provider. Better to schedule an appointment with your normal provider, they do not want to see you here.

I don't know why it has such low reviews. I was just there. I went to the website ahead of time and picked a time and got right in and out. Great fast experience and excellent care from the PA Brad Hill. Thank you

Nothing but bad experiences with this clinic. For the second time, my prescription was sent to a pharmacy that was closed. Both times I had asked if the pharmacy was open and they said yes, and continued to send it there. This is extremely inconvenient with sick little kids. This time around it’s causing me to have to pay out of pocket for the medicine and then return for a reimbursement. They NEED to familiarize themselves with the local pharmacy hours and be a little more considerant if their patients time. I will not be returning and I’d highly recommend going to the N Ankeny urgent care over this clinic if at all possible.

We previously received wonderful, prompt care at this location throughout 2022. The staff explained the purpose of the express clinic was to be a fast, walk in option for standard ailments (like ear aches, sore throats, coughs, etc). Sadly, no more. We walked in today only to find out that this location only accepts patients with scheduled appointments. If it was appropriate to wait for an appointment, we’d be going to my daughter’s pediatrician clinic, it Express Care. UnityPoint needs to reconsider what would be a sensible strategy for express and urgent care versus primary care visits.

Made an appt for 1pm and I was treated, given prescriptions, and on my way home within 20 minutes. So much faster than going to Urgent Care. Staff was all friendly and understanding while I was coughing my lungs out. Will definitely be back.

I was just told you need an appointment when it was supposed to be a walk in clinic and got told there was a 3 hour wait to get seen when there was only one person waiting to be seen

Have never had a good experience here, the workers are lazy and will say anything to get you out the door, especially the front desk

ZERO stars is what they should get. An appointment system is not a walk in clinic. And telling someone over the phone that there’s walk ins available, getting there SIX minutes later and then being told someone took that walk in spot and they refused to see us. No help with finding another option. Just no, can’t be seen. The most unreasonable experience I’ve ever had.
