Some months after my heart attack, which resulted in waking up with a few stints, I complained that the medication he had me on might be causing me to bleed. "It will settle down" was his response, which made no sense to me since I had been taking these pills for close to 9 months. Settle down? That evening I saw an ad on TV for this med with a warning to tell my DR if I experienced any of the listed symptoms, bleeding was one of them. I got up off my chair went to my med cabinet and flushed everything he advised me to take down the toilet! That was 8 plus years ago, I've never gone back to him, and never felt better.

Dr. Doucette has managed my A-fib so that it is fully controlled allowing me to live a normal life and participate in activities that would otherwise be prohibited.
