Received a pacemaker by Dr Yuan extremely competent and sharp as a razor blade. He answered all my questions and I think he is an exceptional Doctor. I would highly recommend him!

I am alive today because of Dr. Yuan. I went to him thinking the mild pains in my chest were probably my imagination. He immediately arranged a scan and two days later, he inserted stents into two of my arteries. He even showed me photos of the blockages. Later, I asked him what would have happened if I had not gone to see him. He said I would have had a massive heart attack. Dr. Yuan was kind, concerned and gentle. He is what every good doctor should be.

He has been my cardiologist for over 5 years. He has always been very caring and thorough with his care. I trust his advise and he works with me on my plan of care. He takes excellent care of my heart.

Oh my gosh! Avoid this guy if at all possible. He is clueless of the impact of what he says to a patient facing a life altering crisis. He has absolutely NO bedside manner. He says things that are totally inappropriate and unnecessary that will alarm and scare patients. What he says can give you a heart attack. Kaiser Permanente should be giving him training on how to interact with patients.

He was my cardiologist after my heart attack 3 years ago and i found him to be amazing. He listened well and explained everything I wanted to understand (I am an engineer which can be rough on doctors). I have been very satisfied with the course of treatment. My wife is an RN and I have been generally healthy. I was responsible for my mom's medical care after amherst dementia and stroke. I have found Dr Yuan to be the best of all the doctors I have met in all these contexts.
