They have the nicest staff and the best attitudes. I know they are short staffed and I want to Thank Each and Everyone of them.I was very pleased with the Care I received and would recommend them to anyone.God Bless All of You.

Sunday, I went to ER in Boone from Jefferson. They did a Covid Test. Unfortunately Positive. From the minute they came out to the car to get me Until I left, they treated me with the utmost respect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Would not advise anyone to seek pain support from Chris Hanson. He does not look at past records for what he has performed. He is difficult to get an appointment with when you are truly in pain. He travels and makes it it very difficult to see him at the same place and records do not transfer. He has student fellowship trainees come in, which he gets paid for, and he is not in the room when they push and pull on your body parts which causes much more pain, as they have have not been privy to your xrays or MRIs. I do think Chris is a good person but had to move on after 6 years to someone who could truly help me with my pain.

Had fantastic experience through ER after a skiing accident this past weekend. Kathie, Michelle, Pam, and Dr. Stilley were fantastic and made my experience as pleasant as possible. They were all friendly, accommodating, and very kind. Thankful for their help and expertise!

I was seen in the ER for a health scare. Dr. Sheffler and the nurse who took care of me were both so kind, answered all of my questions and put me at ease. Dr. Sheffler was down to earth, personable and made sure to keep me informed of the tests I would be receiving and my discharge plan. I received excellent care.

I've been to Boone County Hospital a couple times and can appreciate how great the facility is and the competency that I saw from the staff. Thank you Boone County Hospital!

Not good

. The nurses that took care of her where rude! The Aid was a C*nt to say it nice. Then the weekend 1/19 came and my mom felt happy. Her nurse was sweet and the aids took care of her with a smile. The night time was not good they refused to help her to the bathroom. I don’t understand how only a handful of staff could be nice and the rest be so rude. She needs help come help her don’t lie because you don’t like you’re job, Don’t be rude how hard is that? We will be going to Ames for now on! Thank you to the day people 1/19/19 who treated my mom with kindness. You came in with a smile every time and didn’t make my mom feel like she was a burden. Other then that I would give a zero star but the few who where kind I gave a one star...

If you can just drive down to Mary Greely in Ames. This hospital is at best an urgent care center. I wouldn't even call it that because I would have had better service at an urgent care center. I took my 2 month old in because he had a fever and they just told me to give him some tylenol. I took him the next day to McFarland clinic they admitted him over to Mary Greely hospital because he had an infection and need intravenous antibiotics. He had to stay for 3 days in the hospital.Before that, Boone County Hospital ambulance picked me up because I was going into labor with my son. Six months later I get a call from collection that I have an outstanding bill from Boone County Hospital. I contacted the hospital and they stated that they didn't know where I live and they tried to send a bill. You picked me up in the ambulance at my house. How do you not know where I live? Besides the point, my insurance told them because they filed the bill late that they have to file that with their claims insurance because it has nothing to do with me. They still sent me to collections anyway. So I contacted the Boone County Hospital business office to tell them their error and they still trying to blame me for this because it was my fault they didn't file the claim with my insurance in a timely manner. My insurance was nice enough to pay the bill but they still have me in collections. My insurance had to chew the business office personnel which it just one person.Boone County Hospital needs to be avoided at all possible. The doctors are not adequate and you be better off going to Ames.

My family has a chronic illness that this hospital has not taken seriously. My brother has died,my sister has died my nephew just had open heart surgery and niece has had a stroke .again my neice went to the ER and they basically told her she was over reacting and sent her home. She is now at Mary freely medical center were they took her seriously and having a CT scan. Please Boone hospital do some doctor training to save lives.look up vascular eds tired of the closet hospital not knowing anything
