I have seen Dr Boda at the hospital where she is a staff geriatric psychiatrist. I have not had the feeling that she genuinely engaged with me. She has made several odd recommendations concerning my physical health. In general I would say that communication has strained and difficult.

Dr Boda poorly diagnosed me for psychosis and kept me in the unit for 24 days . Pathetic

Unacceptable for the attending physician at a private NYC teaching hospital to see patients only every other day for 5 mins and make herself totally inaccessible to them and their families over the course of a lengthy stay. Bedside manner and communication skills need work.

Boda, as attending, was a largely absent figure during my relative's hospital stay, and not a good communicator. If families are indeed "part of the treatment team" it would behoove Roosevelt to start training and requiring its attending doctors to meet with families, as is standard practice in other hospitals. The iPatient setup does not behoove a Sinai-affiliated hospital.
