Holy Cow, I can't believe this woman is still around. She maimed a man (see Harris v. Winiarski), and paralyzed him for life doing a surgery for which she had no training. The Judge noted, as did several psychiatrists, that she had a "god complex" which caused her to exceed her training in the belief she could save someone rather than calling upon a trained professional. $2.5 million in damages. I was her patient and could have been a victim had I not accidentally found out about the lawsuit and settlement. She is also a liar about her skills, and caused me damage because she didn't refer me to a doctor with the skills I needed.
Dr. Harris has performed three surgeries and a procedure for (on) me over the past few years. Her staff is simply awesome! They answer any questions you might have, and if they are not sure, they'd WILL find out for you.Every situation has been thoroughly described to me and made sure i understood. The Doc is a great lady, quirky, lol, as you expect from someone so focused on what she does. But happy to sit with me and make sure i understand what's going on.As far as I'm concerned, there is no better choice for vascular surgeries.I never wait longer than ten minutes in the waiting room for appointments, they are very proactive when it comes to new appointments and any insurance issues. She works out of Buffalo General Hospital, another great place for care.As i understand, she is a terrific teacher for her interns and (of course i asked) they all adore her and have nothing but good things to say about her professionally and personally.Highly recommend you see her if you have any vascular issues!
Doctor Harris has performed 3 different procedures on me over the past few years. Her staff is awesome, extremely short waiting times when you visit her office. Any questions are answered fully and quickly. The Doc is quirky, of course, intelligence breeds it lol, she's a great lady, as a teacher bringing in a new batch of vascular surgeons, i would expect a standard from her with her students (based on other reviews) Any staff i speak to have nothing but good things to say about her. I would and most likely will be back to see her for more issues, and am both comfortable and happy to do so.
First of all, don't believe these positive reviews, because a basic background check will reveal that this woman has double digit medical malpractice actions. see Harris v. Winiarski...... The Court found her guilty of operating in a manner way past her skill set, without appropriate training, and leaving a man paralyzed. The Court psychologists determined that she had a "God" complex, and believes she has above average skills when her training is substantially less than average. Meanwhile, I was a patient for the same rare medical condition as the man she paralyzed (for which she had no training but claimed she did) and she left me and all of her other patients hanging telling us she was "ill", while she was actually in medical malpractice court. P.S. Dr. Illig of Strong is her counterpart. They testify for each other, but both have double digit medical malpractice lawsuits. Always do your homework before you allow a doctor to play God with your life.
Excellent comprehensive care and explanation of diabetic ulcer on lower leg. Very complete investigation of health problems contributing issues that may have effected care. Fast prompt follow through for needed after care and home health care needs short term. Dr. Harris took time to investigate and successfully treat issue after another doctor spent 10 minutes with me and immediately wanted to do complex, unneeded surgery.
Basically saveD my bacon lol Explained everything in detail, came to my hospital room to check on me, cared about my well being.
Dr Harris has a very bad bedside manor. I have had angioplasti and stents with her. She did not make things clear to me. Told me to"shut up" during my procedures also yelled at her student. She is rude. She needs to work on people skills. I got more information on my procedures from nurse and technical staff. I have to have a bypass now due to first 2 procedures failed and I'm frightened
I have been a patient of Dr. Harris for about 10 years. Dr. Harris us straightforward and to the point, which I appreciate.
If you want an EXCELLENTsurgeont Dr Harris is for you.. If you want a caring Doctor afterwards who will be concerned about your pain and suffering; move on quickly!Staff is just as rude. I am changing Doctors as I write after going a holiday weekend without pain medication because she made me wait over 3 hours to return a page made to her office.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
