Children’s Dental Center has caring and friendly staff. My child felt safe and confident and so did I.

We love the friendly staff at Children’s Dental and Dr. Mathews is the absolute best! My kids love going to the dentist!

Wish I was a kid so I could be seen here! Have received nothing but the best care here for my children. Always an explanation of what's going on and refers us elsewhere if needed. Will continue going here till my kids are grown.

Staff is very friendly, always making our children comfortable and welcome. Dr. Mike is great! He’s professional, efficient and provides great care.

Update: the next day after I posted this the secretary called stating she would send us our x-rays and that our son's work needed to be done as it's a deep cavity so I will say they stay on top of reviews, but would still prefer another dentist and glad we found one for our son and got his appointment going and all set up for him to get his cavity work completed. They called first thing this morning while we were still having breakfast. They didn't try to keep a customer they simply were saying goodbye basically to my spouse who answered the call. Odd, but oh well!! We have been to alot of dentist in Colorado where we moved from. Having left an excellent dentist who truly cared about the parents and the child, we knew finding a good dentist to replace ours was not going to be easy. A friend had recommended this and to be honest I was not fond of how things went overall. I don't feel they truly cared about my children but more about making money. They seemed to rush my discussion and did not break things down in terms I could understand. Seemed to only have one dentist who had several patients to get too. Overall, I would not use them again as I like to be involved in what is going on in my children's dentist apt. And they keep parents in waiting room till completed, something some here in Iowa say is normal but even coming from a large city like Denver- this is not a normal routine. Overall again I will be finding another place that cares more about the child and the parent rather than their own protocol of how they do things.

Dr Matthews and his staff have provided excellent dental care for my children since 2010. My daughter is handicapped and wheelchair bound. They always go above and beyond to make her comfortable and happy. I highly recommend Dr Matthews and his staff for your children’s dental needs.

I never write reviews, however will take the time to do this so it could help someone save themselves the stress of dealing with this unprofessional and condescending “children’s” dentist. Not kid friendly, doesn’t seem to like to be asked questions or deal with anyone else’s thoughts. Highly recommend you someone else.

Dr. Matthews was so kind related to a potential dental emergency with my 2 year old. After leaving a message on the after hours emergency line, he called back in no time at all and took the time to listen and explain how to handle the situation. He guided me on how to take photos of the issue so he could make a recommendation the kind of care needed (emergent or a simple follow up). He provided peace of mind during a situation that I had never experienced and how to handle it.
