I requested and received steroid shots in both knees. X-ray showed that the patella’s in both knees had no cartilage to absorb. Dr Todd said that in this case steroid shots may not help. The lidocaine did NOT seem to reduce pain as expected. The steroid reduced inflammation over the first couple of weeks and there is very little pain. There is still inflammation in the left knee but very little pain. I can walk 2-3 miles and bicycle 15 + miles with you little or no pain. I will cancel the 3 month appointment.

Dr. Johnston is an AWESOME DOC! I trust him completely. He takes time to LISTEN to you, he doesn't just hear you. I feel like I'm talking to a friend & a Doctor. Jack is also AWESOME! He's so fun to talk to while getting injections. You hardly even feel it because you're laughing! These guys are AMAZING!!!

The Whole staff was very informative. Even though they had to tell me the treatment I was hoping for was not in my best interest but gave me alternatives. I want the professionals I seek treatment from not to tell me what I want to hear but what is truly in my best long term interest. That’s the definition of professionals. I would not hesitate recommending them to my friends & colleagues

He did a HORRIBLE job on my hip!!! A year later still in soooo much pain only to find out I have to go to a specialist in Iowa City and get it RE-DONE!!!! 🤬😡

Thank you Dr Todd Johnston for all you have done for me! You are an expert at what you do! Staff is excellent! Becca is the bomb!! You guys have done lots of work on my shoulders and I’m so glad when my options ran out you sent me on to Iowa City! I’m thankful!

Dr.Johnston is the best he's done both my knee replacement surgeries he's caring and thorough explaining everything and options available to you His staff is just as good the best of the best from surgery to thearapy they are great
