Brian Privett's Online Review Report Card

I had cataract surgery on both eyes with Dr. Privett at Iowa Eye in October and November 2020. I was extremely impressed with Dr. Privett and the entire staff I worked with at Iowa Eye through the process. For my replacement lenses I was a candidate for the Alcon PanOptix tri-focal implant and chose that option. My vision improved dramatically in both eyes. Right eye went from 20/60 before the surgery in October to 20/20 the day after surgery and I believe I am now close to 20/15 a week later. The left eye went from 20/40 before the surgery to 20/20 the next day (which is today) as I write this review. I'm hoping my left eye will also get to 20/15 after a few more days. Extremely happy and would highly recommend Dr. Privett, Iowa Eye and the PanOptix artificial lenses.

This Doctor without a doubt is the number one surgeon for cataract surgery in Eastern Iowa! Staff is excellent, the doctor has excellent manners with the patient and this is all I can tell you from my experience. Mine were in the fall of 2020. After I went, then my wife's best friend had hers done by Dr. Privett and was quite a happy camper. Now my wife is having hers done and is happy with the first one!! These were recently in 2021. I had Lasik Refractive Surgery done on 2/11/15 by Dr. Brian Privett. My experience was nothing but positive. The following day for my post op visit I was seeing 20/20 in both eyes. It was amazing. I wore either contact lenses or glasses for over 30 years. It truly changed my life. I would highly recommend Lasik Eye surgery at the Iowa Eye Center by Dr. Privett to anyone. His professionalism and staff were outstanding!!

Dr. Brian Privett performed Lasik Refractive Surgery on me during February 2015. Dr. Brian and his staff put me right at ease, all questions and concerns I had were addressed quickly and thoroughly. They walked me through the entire process prior to surgery, so I would know exactly what to expect. During the post op appointment on the following day I was extremely excited to find out I had 20/20 vision. I had worn contacts for 20 years; my only disappointment was not doing it earlier! I would very much recommend Dr. Brian Privett and the great staff at the Iowa Eye Center for Lasik eye surgery! I am now 4 months post operation and I’m still seeing wonderfully and without any problems. It was an amazing experience to participate on RAGBRAI without having to deal with contacts!
