Bulent Cetindag's Online Review Report Card

Dr Cetindag M.D. is an amazingly talented surgeon who probably saved my life. He is careful, caring and compassionate as demonstrated by his presence in my hospital room and the way he communicated complex medical situations to me and frankly to my family when I was too sick to do so my self. His after care is top notch as are the team of professional in his clinical office. I feel fortunate to have drawn his card in my emergency situation.

Dr. Cetindag M.D. is an amazingly skillful surgeon who probably saved my life. I felt understood as a patient and he kept my family informed of critical issues, related to my medical status, which was no small thing. He took time to help us understand complicated medical decisions I found him to be humane and personable as well as an excellent surgeon. He is a careful, caring and compassionate man

Horrible surgeon!!! I will forever have life long issues because of this man. If I could give him negative stars I would. I had an appendectomy August 2018. He made huge mistakes and ended up with a foot of my colon removed and my illiocical valve. He lied and told me it was 3 inches of colon and never told me he removed my illiocical valve. He removed a vital body part of MINE and never even told me. I was in the hospital for over 2 months. I had 3 infections because of the lack of care provided by him and his team. I had c-diff, abdominal abcesses, and my incission was infected from the nurses not cleaning and changing the dressings. Dr. Cetendag wanted to place a drain for the abscesses in my abdomen when I decided died I was not going to let this man touch me EVER AGAIN!!! I demanded an ambulance pick me up and bring me to another hospital. When I arrived at the U of I my temp was over 104.0 and they told me I was close to death. THIS MAN ALMOST KILLED ME. I then had to have 8 of my staples removed and pus drained from my incision, had to have a drain placed for the abdominal abscesses in my abdomen which was in place for about a month and a lot of blood work and medicine and healing. Took 3 months to get back to work, I had home nurses coming to my house 3 times a week. For some time. I will forever have issues. I never have a solid bowel movement. I am constantly Nauseous. I can't eat certain foods without getting sick. I spend a lot of time in the bathroom. I have chronic pain and probably always will. I am currently in the hospital and just had another major surgery due to this man's mistakes. I would not trust this man with any of my loved ones. I hope this helps save at least one person's life. Do not let this man touch you. This is the short version of my story, and there are many details I am leaving out. Just trust and believe you do not want this man opporating on you.

He is absolutely wonderful!!!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!! He fixed an issue caused by another doctor and I healed as perfect as perfect can get, he made my fears go away and I was assured everything would work out fine with some patience. I’d recommend him again and again, awesome personality too, thanks Dr.Cetindag
