After several weeks of testing and consulting at MAYO CLINIC at Rochester Mn. result was a Liver Transplant. All said and done my assigned Doctor told me that it was Dr Rippentrops cancer discovery that saved my life.

I have been going to John for years. He is very personable takes the time to explain things doesnt jump to any immediate conclusions when blood work might be off some. He will reevaluate things in a short time period and make a determination after a number of evaluations. I am a teaser and fun guy. He has a great sense of humor as well. He always asks about my regular personal life and how things are going. It eases any tension and makes it a total pleasure to go see him yearly. I would strongly recommend him as a specialist.

I have had 2 prostate operations 10 years apart performed by Dr. Rippentrop and both went very smooth his knowledge manner and intrest in each and every patient is well above the norm for specialized medicine. I would not even think of another Urology Specialist for treatment.

The absolute best I was diagnosed with a kidney tumor by my GP. He saw me within the hour and set me at complete ease by his manner obvious level of knowledge and compassion. Any visit I had prior to surgery I left his office being completely confident in him as well. My surgery was a success and he saw me minutes prior to surgery and in his phenomenal manner I left for the operating room without anxiety. He is personable not arrogant or aloof. He deserves an Oscar

This was my first appointment with Dr. Rippentrop. I am very impressed. He is personable and easy to understand. Professional and decisive. Delayed a test to assure an accurate test with less chance of making the situation worse.
