List of Kyle Switzer's Reviews
Dr. Switzer is going to find himself in trouble one day with his approach to medical practice. I had elective surgery with him to remove a bone spur on my right shoulder that stuck right up with a shark-tooth like form. He did not remove the bone spur. It exists on my shoulder today exactly as before. I tried to confront him about it nicely, but he seemed irate about the assertion that he had performed the surgery incorrectly. Interestingly, I had a chance to speak with the assistant surgeon privately during my follow-up appointment. I was suspicious of a screw-up in the surgery because of the way the healing area of skin felt and the assistant surgeon at first confirmed my suspicion, saying they had removed bone from a different plane (essentially the front of the shoulder blade instead of the top). This was a needless area to remove. Essentially, I lost money and time. Dr Switzer wouldn't admit to the issue or provide reconciliation. This occurred in May of 2019.
Dr. Switzer is going to find himself in trouble one day with his approach to medical practice. I had elective surgery with him to remove a bone spur on my right shoulder that stuck right up with a sharktooth like form. I got Xrays beforehand and went over the area several times with the doctor and preop medical staff. Before the surgery he casually asked me to confirm which shoulder and what he was removing.... this raised an alarm. He seemed to know the general spot but he did not have a good sense of what he was specifically removing Its unthinkable that a doctor would perform invasive surgery without knowing exactly what to do for the procedure. A week after the surgery I suspected something was wrong but I could not be sure because of tissue scarringhealing. Perhaps six weeks later I was 90% sure the surgery had been done incorrectly and I tried to confront Dr Switzer about it. He seemed irate that I was calling the procedure into question and challenged everything I told him. However he was busy on that day and I had talked with his assistant surgeon privately first who told me that the only bone they had removed was in fact 90 degrees planar to the area that I had asked them to remove. Today I am 100% certain that was what happened as the area has completely healed and the shark tooth like stump on my right shoulder is still there. So Dr Switzer removed something completely unnecessary. I have felt burned since that day and I never got any retribution.
Saw him today for the first time and he was wonderful. He was kind thorough and funny. I’d recommend him to anyone I care about Alice in DME was fantastic as well.
Dr Switzer performed surgery on our son with a torn labrum and tendon from a football injury. He was very caring and spent the time needed to explain the situation and how he was going to repair the injury. I would highly recommend Dr Switzer as he is very personable and professional.
Dr. Switzer performed a flawless surgery on my daughter. He takes the time to answer questions and explain what his thought process is. Thank you Dr. Switzer
He listens and explains in terms I can understand.Gives options and what comes next.
Great Doctor! Gave us all options available for our son's treatment and shared with us his approach if our son's injury happened to his child. Had great follow-up with us along the way. Highly recommend.
About 3 years ago Dr. Switzer performed rotator cuff surgery for me. After the surgery he explained that I was very lucky he was able to make the repair and explained how complicated it was. I felt very fortunate and have been getting along great since the surgery. I remain thankful that he is such a talented surgeon and takes the time to answer your questions. In my book he comes very highly recommended.
Dr Switzer listened to my concerns and did a good job diagnosing my problem. The Nurse Heidi was very ride to me on the phone when I called a couple months later asking to speak to his Nurse. Bcs. of my experience withthis Nurse Heidi that answered the phone I am looking elsewhere for a Doctor
I appreciate Dr. Switzer’s willingness to listen to our concerns and take a practical approach in regards to healthcare for my family.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
