Dr. Kuo performed Trigger finger surgery on me after treating me for 3 years trying injections first. She was very friendly and took the time to explain everything I would be experiencing. All went great and a followup visit and healing time went smooth. After 2 months I am very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend Dr. Kuo and will not hesitate to visit her again if the need arises. Update 2019. After a couple of years all good with no hand issues related to surgery. Update 2021. All good with no issues relating to my hand surgery. Glad to see no other fingers have been affected since then too

Dr Kuo is not professional in her manners and concerns for her patients. She rolls her eyes and made comments about my injury she said oh well who cares. I care Im hurt and you act like its not important to you. Belittled me and and didnt explain my injurys so I could understand. When I did ask a question her response was I already explained this to you do I have to do it again. Dont go to her there are a lot better Doctors that do respect there patients.

My son broke his wrist and had to have surgery . We were very lucky to have had Dr. Kuo be the surgeon on call. Very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. You could tell she had a passion for what she does. Not only did she take the time to explain and answer all of my husband and Is questions she took the time to make sure our 13 year old understood everything and made him feel at ease.

Dr. Kuo was so thorough in her examination. She was honest and gave us a very good idea what was in store for my husband as he healed. She came to the wound center to see him rather than making him go to the office. Very convenient for us She has a very engaging personality and calls my husband by name considers his occupation in her decisions and really personalizes his care.

Upon checking pressure points and where exactly I was experiencing pain she dismissed half the areas I said. I later called requesting a document stating the extent of my injury and what limitations it may cause for my employer. She was supposed to call me so we could discuss what I do for work she never called. I called back and her nurse relayed to me that Even if the injury is causing you pain you can still DO the work... I felt Dr. Kuo didnt take me seriously made a biased judgement.
