Lori Wenzel's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Wenzel was our OBGYN throughout the whole pregnancy and she safely delivered our son via emergent c-section. Would highly recommend her professional and warm approach to anyone in the Iowa City area!

Simply stated, Dr. Wenzel is the best. Aside from being a phenomenal doctor with years of knowledge and experience, she is attentive, personable, and compassionate. I have been her patient for many years and she delivered all three of my children. Although my child bearing years are over, I feel extremely blessed to have her in my corner for whatever life brings. I highly recommend Dr. Wenzel for any and all of your OBGYN needs.

This staff, this Surgeon ( I had Dr. Lori Wenzel) and Kim> amazing human beings all deserving all of the rewards and are writing the standards for the field(s). Go here for your Obstetric and gynecological needs. You cannot go wrong. On a side note, the radiology folks ( Corridor Radiology) downstairs are thorough and profesh as 5 stars can be as well.

I went in to get a pap smear but only recived a basic pelvis exam. I didn't realize what didn't happen until checking out. This was because durring the appointment I felt so rushed and my other concerns were thoughly belittled and dismissed. I feel shaken, cheated and frustrated by what happened. I feel it was a complete waiste of my time and money.These kinds of appointments are never fun and because of a breakdown in communication I now have to endure another appointment to get the service I requested. But I certainly will not be making another appointment at this clinic again.

Very warm and welcoming staff and doctors. Loved all my treatment and care during my pregnancies.

Dr. Wenzel is nice but her time in face to face interaction with me as a patient is short. I always left there feeling rushed. Also the time to return calls was 1 day to the following week. At one point her nurse was rude when she returned a call. I will be seeking care with a private practice OB with more one on one care. The receptionist never seem to answer the phones, you usually need to call more then once.

What a pleasant experience . The doctor and staff are professional but make you feel very relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommended. She is very nice and friendly, I loved her.I was originally referred to Dr. Lori and I was so impressed with her that I decided to make her my delivery in Mercy hospital.

I will say that I am not one to look forward to seeing a doctor... but Dr Wenzel is great.. I truly look forward to seeing her...

Dr Wenzel was my doctor when I got pregnant at a young age, and was going through an adoption with the baby. She explained the papers to me that were sent to her by the lawyer, made sure I knew what I was signing before I chose to sign it. Naturally shes my doctor for this pregnancy, after some bleeding at my job and a trip to the ER Dr Wenzel called me in the evening (On her time Im sure, as it was 8pm!) to see if I was doing better and if the bleeding had slowed down or stopped. She really cares about her patients, she is always very busy and the wait time to see her is longer than youd expect, but thats a small price to pay for personal service like hers.

Though the wait time is ridiculous, Dr. Wenzle spent time with me and answered all my questions and even did extra work that I was not scheduled to have done during that appointment so I would not have to come in week later. You do have to schedule an appointment with her at least 4 months in advance though.
