I am surprised to see one negative review for Dr. Freeman. He has been treating my blood disorder for over a decade. He has always been friendly, respectful, and, in my case, I have never had to wait on him. Once in a while I have to wait to get out of the waiting room but that is usually because all of the chairs used to push fluids or draw blood are all taken. His nurse Angie is also fantastic. I love them both!

After my former physician moved to hospice service only, I was unable to find a doctor with adequate knowledge of and interest in helping a person with hemocromatosis. Dr Freeman went above and beyond to not only ensure my health needs were addressed, he further educated himself on hemochromotosis and did not hesitate to seek further information if questions or concerns arose that he did not have an immediate answer for. Finding a knowledgeable doctor in the Des Moines area to appropriately treat hemochromotosis was impossible prior to locating Dr Freeman.

This Dr. Is great! I asked for a Dr. That shoots from the hip! Tell me what's up with this cancer, don't pull punches, no sugar!! and I got Dr. Freeman, he's my 3rd oncologist not by my fault, Hope we start together through this crazy time of cancer treatment. So far hers the best yet.

I have been to three hematologists and he is the best for me. He is funny, polite and very knowledgeable. My first hematologist had been doing it for a hundred years and would not get on board with new ideas and techniques, even telling me that "the AMA is always overreacting." I like the fact that he is still young enough, though not inexperienced at all, to use new approaches. And he's a Cubs ...

I appreciate that Dr. Freeman gives it to me straight and knows his field of medicine. The treatment plan he has initiated has been validated by doctors from other prestigious cancer centers so I feel very comfortable in his care. (Plus I don't have to travel across the country to get excellent treatment). The results are looking good so far and that makes me happy to be a patient of Dr. Freeman and his staff.
