If you are thinking about a tummy tuck, stop thinking and just do it!! Dr. Folkers is hands down amazing!! I had the most amazing experience and care. I had been to a couple other surgeon's for consultations but Dr. Folkers made me feel extremely comfortable. He was very honest and didn't seem pushy. I loved that he kept me over night to be cared for. I truly believe the IV fluids and controlled pain meds helped with my speedy recovery! I'm blown away by my results so far!! Almost one month out and I can't believe this is my new body!! His nurse, Heidi was also an absolute gem! She would answer any questions or concerns I had immediately after a call or message.

Dr. Folkers and the team at Broadlawns surgery center was amazing with our sweet daughter. She had a bike accident that resulted in surgery. The surgery staff treated her with kid gloves and let her control as much as possible. His office nurse and PA were rock stars through the process as well. I have called multiple times with questions and they are also so friendly. We appreciate everything they did for our family during this unexpected event.

I have scheduled twice for hand surgery. 1st time, I was called and asked if I would change my date for surgery because someone with skin cancer needed him. I said okay. Now they called again and cancelled my appt and wanted to reschedule it for 6 weeks later. I will have to repeat all pre surgery tests again. So paying twice on X-rays, heart tests etc. cancelled because he needed to consult with another Dr. that day. Obviously I am of no importance. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

Dr Folkers and team are caring, trustworthy, skilled, compassionate and truly wanted me to be informed and successful with my procedures. I have many skin issues and he is always caring when providing services, whether in office or outpatient surgery. I put my skin health in his hands and have full trust in his opinion on how to handle each case! His has built an amazing team to surround him and his philosophies! Appreciate them all!

Dr. Folkers and his staff are AMAZING.. Nurse Heidi is extremely polite and helpful!! Dr. Folkers and his staff took the time to explain everything and make sure I understood. Highly recommend!!!

It has been five months now since my surgery with Dr. Folkers, and I'm happy with the results, Dr. Folkers explained the procedure and care he and his nurse will give after the surgery and they did, they make me feel welcome and care for before and after my surgery, I look better and can see great because of my surgery

I only gave him one star because I can't rate him any lower. I complained for months that implants, after a bi-lateral masectmoy, were not right and one of them hurt. I was brushed off he kept saying "oh they will settle in".I finally saw another Dr who removed and replaced them. One had no pocket to hold it in place and was falling under my arm. The other was completely encapsulated in scar tissue. They also were the cancer causing implants and I had never received any kind of notification. I would not bring my dogs to see Dr Folker.

From the first time I met Dr. Folkers and his nurse Heidi, I was greeted with THE BEST care a person could imagine. Dr. Folkers made me feel comfortable and at ease and answered any questions I had. His nurse Heidi deserves a Daisy award, as she is so caring and makes sure she is available if you need her! I had a rough first week and there was always open communication between them and myself. They definitely NEVER make you feel like your out of place and they make sure you are heard and your needs are met. They truly are a great team and the best Doctor and nurse combo I have encountered in my 33 years. If I ever need more work done, I know exactly where I am going to go 😆😌.

I consulted with two other doctors before choosing Dr Folkers for my breast lift. I knew he was the right doctor for my procedure. I would highly recommend Dr Folkers and Heidi and the Broadlawns team. I am very pleased with the outcome!
