Dr.Jameson has an awful bedside manner. First of all, when I had my knee drained because I can't tolerate the gel injections he gave me ( which caused me to reinjure my knee) he didn't even ask me if I understood his plan, second of all, he didn't ask me first if his students could watch the procedure, third of all, when I told him that the procedure made my pain even worse to the point where I was crying hysterically and ask he did was walk out of the room. When I asked the nurse i he could do something for the pain ( because it was intolerable- and I have a high threshold for pain) she said that he doesn't prescribe anything. It was so bad that I couldn't drive and my boyfriend had to leave work early to help me drive back to Ames. We went straight to the ER in Ames and they helped me. I'm not writing this review just because of this one incident, because even before this happened at previous appointments he was rude and abrasive and didn't give me time to ask questions about any procedure he was going to do. I even told him last time that my first gel injection made my pain go from a 4 to an 8 but he just told me that getting the second injection would helpful . ( it didn't and it caused my knee to become more unstable.) I changed my review because my first two visits were great, but after that he was very rude and act like he doesn't care.

Dr. Jameson did both knees in 2000, 2001. I went through 5 docs, who wouldn't fix my knees! Went to him he did left knee 1st. Was over weight, after I lost 100 pds. Great Doc. Wish he was still there !!

Done a total knee replacement on my husband Husband feel and shifted the bottom part of knee replacement, went in and took it out, old implant & put in a temporary one. a week or so later had put in permanent inplant Through out the surgery dr Jameson cracked the bone..he acted like oh well no big deal when he told me after surgery 9 months since first and what should of been his only surgery he’s still having major pain and has to use a Cain to walk with

He totally ruined his surgery on my knee replacement. Had 2 major infections which he ignored. New knee has shifted 30 degrees off center. His 'bed side manners' are non existent. He ignored nurse's concerns about my recovery. And, he has been fired from GRMC hospital in West Burlington, IA. He is now practicing Des Moines, IA. He is self centered and thinks he is above common sense.

Dr. Jameson assisted Dr. Scott Neff with my hip replacement. I met Dr. Jameson prior to my surgery and he was very personable and professional.

I received what I was told I would.one exception I was taken off of blood thinners in ER and my surgeon didn't seem to be aware of that.
