This is the 2nd time he has done shots in my knees using a special xray. This time the pain was very minimal and I could tolerate it. Not sure if a different size needle was used or different placement. Needless to say, I didn't scream like usual!

This is what I had done; A radiofrequency ablation is a minimally invasive procedure that destroys the nerve fibers carrying pain signals to the brain. It can provide lasting relief for people with chronic pain, especially in the lower back, neck and arthritic joints.The Iowa Ortho staff was fantastic for the care I received while I was there. They explained everything that was going to be happening that day. They were patient and caring.Dr. Thomas Klein did my procedure, he's awesome. He is very professional on one hand and on the other hand he treats you as if he's known you for forever and a day. Oh and he's quite the comedian at times! Bottom line he will do right by you!

It hurt, felt the stuff going on and up my spine. Also need handles to hold when doing this so you don't feel like you're going to fall off. But otherwise I can feel a lot of difference. I can breath easier and walk a little easier. Thank you all.

Called for an appointment and got in the same week. Went to the Jordan Creek Office. Everyone was very friendly. Didn't have to wait long. Angela Conley was very friendly. She always is. I highly recommend Iowa Ortho.
